From July 6 to August 31, 2024, the resort's summer activities will be in operation and the ski lifts of Tsd. Clòt der Os in Beret and Tsd. Bosque in Baqueira, which provide access to mountain biking and trekking trails between 1500 and 1800.

The routes, both hiking and mountain biking, are possible thanks to the work of the Conselh Generau d'Aran with the collaboration of the City Council of Naut Aran. These institutions, and Baqueira Beret providing access through its ski lifts, encourage a multipurpose use of certain routes, both on foot and by bicycle, in an example of coexistence in the high mountains of different types of nature sports.

It is worth mentioning the expansion of the MTB "flow trails", with the new Telesèra route and the remodeling of the Tortuga, which are accessible both during the summer season with open lifts and outside those dates and are of low difficulty and designed to be accessible to the whole family. In this way, 9 MTB trails are offered to add to the extensive network of routes offered by the Val d'Aran.

For mountain biking enthusiasts, there is a wide variety of routes. We recommend the Ta Baqueira route that crosses Beret diagonally to link up with the quiet Camin Dera Aigua or the challenging descent of Dera Cascada in Orri, depending on the riders' choice. There are also marked hiking tra ils to access impressive places, such as the magical Lacs deth Clòt der Os or the aforementioned ones located in Orri and heading to Baqueira, which are easily accessible on foot.

Gastronomy

In summer, some of the resort's restaurants are in operation offering the usual gastronomic quality of Baqueira. All of them have a large terrace where you can have a relaxing drink in the mountain sun.

The Restaurant Pla de Beret offers a gourmet menu and market cuisine as well as panoramic views of Baciver and Montarto. The Baqueira Bar 1,500 is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a refreshing aperitif after an adrenaline-filled descent, as the mountain bike route ends at this establishment.

Located in the surroundings of the Hotel Montarto, Borda Lobato guarantees a gastronomic experience thanks to its well-known grill as they are specialists in grilled meat. Its terrace is extremely sunny and is the scene of concerts throughout the summer. For those looking for a good appetizer or a snack, there is nothing better than the terrace of the Wine Bar by Viña Pomal, in the Plaza del Fórum.

Equipment rental

Currently one of the most popular is the rental of electric and road bikes to discover the stunning scenery of this area of the Lleida Pyrenees. You can also hire the services of a guide that is undoubtedly the best way to choose to ride on roads adapted to each technical level and discover the secrets of the area.

On the other hand, La Val d'Aran is still committed to improving the experience of customers who want to discover the territory by pedal stroke. To this end, the seal ÒC BIKEFriendly has been created, in which currently a total of 34 accommodations and 22 cycling companies certify that they offer specific services for cycling customers.

There is an electric motorcycle circuit available in a secure and fenced area of Salardú and electric motorcycle rental, both activities by Electric Riders, for those who wish to explore the area at their own pace as an opportunity to get to know the Val d'Aran on a silent and environmentally friendly means of locomotion. Obviously we offer the possibility of hiring the services of a guide for the electric motorcycle rides.

Guided hiking routes are also proposed and already this spring 2024 are available new great routes that allow you to enter the most beautiful and emblematic corners of the territory. Some of these proposals are Refus d'Aran, Aran-Cominges, Tour del Aneto or Ruta deth Taro, among others. In Beret, the horseback rides that can be hired next to the restaurant and the access walk to Montgarri, which is a summer classic, stand out.

On the other hand, the Garona river and the Noguera Pallaresa are the perfect setting for rafting and both the Val d'Aran and the Valls d'Àneu are suitable for canyoning to immerse yourself in the wilderness overcoming natural obstacles, sliding down water Water Water Slides and jumping into natural pools. Motorized excursions in 4x4 buggies are also proposed, always on tracks with the relevant permit.
