Head repeats as technical brand of the Spanish Cup of inclusive alpine skiing

HEAD is again this year 2024 the official technical brand of the Spanish Cup FOCC inclusive alpine skiing in the three stops of the competition: Baqueira Beret, Sierra Nevada and Formigal.

This week begins the first round of the Spanish Cup FOCC inclusive alpine skiing, the only alpine skiing circuit in Spain in which athletes with and without disabilities participate. This circuit is organized thanks to Occident Foundation and the Center for Adapted Winter Sports (CDIA).

The main objective of the Inclusive Alpine Skiing Spanish Cup is none other than to develop an integrated competition that is a national reference and to promote the coexistence of athletes with and without disabilities, seeking normalization through sport.

In this third edition of the competition, HEAD will accompany the particitrousers throughout the circuit as the official technical brand. During the three events, the Austrian brand will create a "Village" space for rest and showroom of products for next season.

Joan Vila, Ski Marketing and Promotion Manager in Spain: "Being part of the team of the Occident Foundation Cup - Spanish Cup inclusive alpine skiing reaffirms HEAD's commitment to support high-performance skiing in all its forms."He adds: "The social work that the Occident Foundation has been carrying out for fifteen years, as well as the involvement of CDIA in programs for people with disabilities, are admirable. During these three events, the HEAD team will offer all our knowledge and technical experience so that the cup continues to be a reference at the state level".

According to Andrés Gómez, director of the Adapted Winter Sports Center (CDIA):

"Having a traveling partner like HEAD brings us technical experience and gives us a boost that allows us to continue growing and working in the right direction with the best tools in favor of inclusion and sport for people with disabilities."

On January 20 and 21, the first stage of the circuit will be inaugurated in the resort of Baqueira Beret (Lleida). The next two will be held in Formigal (Huesca) between February 24 and 25 and finally in Sierra Nevada (Granada) on March 16 and 17.
