Is El Tarter good for beginners?

This resort is closely linked to Soldeu as it's only 1.5km up the road. Both Soldeu and El Tarter are located in the centre of the Grandvalira Ski Resort which has slopes that spread across 210 km and is especially good for beginners, with a great ski school and plenty of gentle greens and blues. There are dedicated kids’ areas, as well as a fair number of runs for more experienced skiers.

The El Tarter ski area centres around a large beginner plateau area which is ideal for first time skiers and Snowboarders. There's also a variety of blue and red runs for experienced skiers.

What are the best hotels or apartments to stay in el Tarter?

Ski Schools and Nurseries.

Maximise your time on the slopes and include ski and snowboard lessons in El Tarter Ski School. We can offer you private and group lessons and you can add as many as you wish. Our lessons adapt to the total ski days you are looking to book so, if you are going on a weekend ski break, you can include ski or snowboard lessons for Saturday and Sunday. If you are booking a short ski break of 3 or 4 days, you will also find a programme. We also have 5-day ski and snowboard lessons.

If you're skiing with children, we can also include excellent nursery programmes. El Tarter nursery has half-day programmes as well as full-day ones. It's up to you ;)

How to get to El Tarter Grandvalira.

You have many different options to reach your ski hotel in El Tarter. If you're driving, all you need to do is find the best route on your GPS and make sure the accommodation has a car park. If you decide to fly to the nearest airport to Andorra, we would suggest you to head to either Barcelona El Prat Airport or Toulouse Blagnac and you can add the transfer service on our site!
