Everything
For Covid reasons, one day they had the ski lifts closed, as they informed us because the workers were doing PCR, I think they should have planned this and supplied with other workers, or do the tests or before opening the ski lifts or when closing.

Pretty well organized with only two open areas. It looks like the ski lifts collapse as more people arrive ..
On Monday we were few skiers who went up, because it was snowing at the tip of the shovel. In the Tarter area they only left one chairlift available, and the soldeu was only the cable car. A bit of Jujañas.

Under normal circumstances, I love the station, however due to the circumstances of the pandemic there are few hired personnel and very few open tracks
The amount of people on the weekend, very few open slopes, the snow condition was bad (spring snow)

They are not the best circumstances but they have been attentive to compliance with the Covid measures.
Despite the price reduction, there were few chairs open and they could consider opening some after closing others due to wind, for example.

We have always enjoyed this season very much, and with the times we are living in it has been great to be able to go.
A pity that they only have a little of the station open because there is not a lot of influx of people due to the pandemic, we hope that soon everything can be operational again.

It is always a safe bet, if they say that there is snow there is snow, you will be able to ski calmly and although we went up with the suspicion that it could be in the doldrums due to the lower influx of public, the service has been excellent, we have not had the feeling clipping for a year like this.
To say something bad this year the snow was worse, BUT, it had not snowed for 15 days (things that happen) and there was a sand storm from the Sahara the week before that damaged the snow, leaving closed sectors Nothing that can be attributed to the season .

We liked everything once again ... The simple fact of being able to go down such a station ... A dream come true given the current situation
We only have one but ... Which already happened the previous year ... The treading of the slopes somewhat irregular ... But hey given the current situation we cannot complain ... Next year I am sure that the slopes will be smooth as the honey .... Greetings

In the Soldeu / Tarter area, for a beginner the green slopes become VERY simple in a few hours, but the next jump, the blue ones, have sections that are really complicated for someone without experience. I missed an intermediate difficulty.

6 consecutive year that I come and it has been the worst because of COVID. At least we have been able to ski, which was the important thing, but very few open slopes and only two eggs and a lift in the tarter and two chair lifts in Grau roig, everything else closed. Very few open slopes and this has been the year with the least snow I have seen of all. Obviously all this has to be reduced to COVID and ertes, but there were hardly any people (positive) but there was no atmosphere or practically skiing, so it was a bit boring in that sense. Two restaurants open only and super expensive, most of the staff of the ski lifts / eggs is not wearing a mask but you are forced to put it on when you get there. This has been the worst without a doubt, but as I said before because of COVID, I hope that next year the entire domain will return and we can enjoy how we like to ski

Every year you improve yourself with the benefits of the APP, Congratulations. Due to the pandemic, the station was largely closed. A shame.
The price of the pass, which although at the box office was a price, notably lower. To us, for buying it in advance, be proactive, with all accident and cancellation insurance, and through skis, we pay it as if we had enjoyed the 210kms of track. We have filed a claim because we feel ... RISKED by the travel agency.

Esquiades.com

Hello Antonio, Before starting the trip from Esquiades.com we contacted to inform you of the slopes that would be open during your trip, so that you were aware of the services that would be available. With that information you decided to keep the trip as you had contracted it. Once the trip started and the pass was used, you contacted us requesting a refund: when you have already been enjoying the pass, it is not possible to return it, since it is a service that has already been provided. The offer of the station that you mention was valid only for residents of Andorra (as the station itself had officially announced), so it was not possible to apply it in your case. In fact, from Esquiades.com we get that non-resident customers who already had their reservation could enjoy it, since at first they were not going to allow it. Antonio, we are very sorry to hear of your discontent. We have been by your side solving all the doubts that have arisen both before and during your trip. We are sorry that we have not reached your satisfaction with our management, but we have done what has been in our power to help you. Best regards, Esquiades.com

Understanding that they are in Erte and cannot keep more than 30% of the station open, but the lifts that you open or close can be managed much better to communicate all the valleys. Country closed, isolated Grau, soldeu and very poor tarter. I understand the situation, but with the same staff, things can be done much better. These are difficult times, but if the few people who can move to leave their money there (always with security measures first of all) to alleviate the situation that exists, you close all the facilities and leave only the areas of schools open and little else ... Well possibly the next time you can go skiing, think of another destination.

Although we have only been able to enjoy the Tarter and Soldeu slopes since the other areas are closed or not connected, we have enjoyed a lot since the slopes were great.
There were some people without masks in the area of the ski lifts, despite the fact that the workers are all the time repeating that you have to wear them.

Phenomenal once again. Modern and fast detachable lifts with many seats, a huge variety of tracks and possible itineraries. A huge station to lose yourself looking for your favorite area. Lots of variety of restaurants (with different types of food and prices). WC's on slopes, distributed in several strategic places to make the most of the day. Good quantity and quality of snow thanks to the altitude of Grandvalira. A 10 for all staff working there.
I have no complaints.

For starters, it is my favorite destination. I am learning to snow and I still do not dare with red or black slopes with which, the number of slopes is reduced, but Grandvalira being so large, you can vary from blue and green and it is appreciated not having to be on it track all the time because you can't go down any more. I was delighted that some cafes included vegetable milks!
For commenting / proposing something, it would be great if they put some option for vegans.

I learned to ski in Grand Valira, it brings back good memories
The snow is already spring and the ski lifts are very old, to go from Grau Roig to Soldeu you can only go through a 4-meter ski lift ...

A very beautiful well maintained resort
Spring snow but by 12C difficult to do better. Bravo to the work done to offer the best quality despite the heat

I love everything in general, it is the best snowboard station of all that I have been to date, and I love that they give so much value to snowboards.

Many skiable km and good price of the ski pass
Slopes poorly maintained this year and everything that has to do with the restoration is still expensive

I love going to Grandvalira, great width of slopes, great variety of slopes, ski lifts, cable cars. I will return without hesitation. This year I liked that the glasses of the cafeterias are no longer for single use as well as the sugar, etc. Recycling is very important but it is more important not to generate as much waste.
The prices of cafes and restaurants seem excessive to me.

We really like the station and the facilities we will return for sure.
Children under the age of 3 cannot enter the Encamp funicamp, but on the last day our 2-year-old daughter climbed a chairlift to go down from Soldeu to the town because the cable car did not work, which was very dangerous.

The size of the station with good tracks.
The connecting chairs between the different sectors are too slow and cause queues

Skiing in Grandvalira was a pleasant discovery because the area is vast and lots of blue and red runs.
The quality of the snow was average because it was hot on the slopes (14 degrees). The piste signage is not very well indicated, fortunately we had the piste map to find our way.

The issue of class schedules in high season is a disaster. They give priority to those who buy in grandvalira Agencies assigned as the worst times.

School Grau Roig (gar neu) is very well equipped, what happens is that it was very crowded but also had a sufficient number of educators children spent a long time without skiing.

The ski instructor was fantastic and very patient. The tracks for them well defined and although the drag stopped from time to time, there was always someone nearby. We would have liked more information about the options available to children before going to prepare the best trip.
