If you are coming from France, you can get there through Pas de la Casa on the RN20 road. You can also reach Grandvalira through the Envalira tunnel where you will find the access to Grau Roig. If you continue down CG2, you will get to the other sectors. Read more

Phenomenal once again. Modern and fast detachable lifts with many seats, a huge variety of tracks and possible itineraries. A huge station to lose yourself looking for your favorite area. Lots of variety of restaurants (with different types of food and prices). WC's on slopes, distributed in several strategic places to make the most of the day. Good quantity and quality of snow thanks to the altitude of Grandvalira. A 10 for all staff working there.
I have no complaints.

Great variety of slopes and no que at all to get into the skilifts.
My negative feedback here is only valid in march..the snow was good until 11-11,30 after that it became wet and heavy. I have never experienced that in December-february

For starters, it is my favorite destination. I am learning to snow and I still do not dare with red or black slopes with which, the number of slopes is reduced, but Grandvalira being so large, you can vary from blue and green and it is appreciated not having to be on it track all the time because you can't go down any more. I was delighted that some cafes included vegetable milks!
For commenting / proposing something, it would be great if they put some option for vegans.

I learned to ski in Grand Valira, it brings back good memories
The snow is already spring and the ski lifts are very old, to go from Grau Roig to Soldeu you can only go through a 4-meter ski lift ...

I love going to Grandvalira, great width of slopes, great variety of slopes, ski lifts, cable cars. I will return without hesitation. This year I liked that the glasses of the cafeterias are no longer for single use as well as the sugar, etc. Recycling is very important but it is more important not to generate as much waste.
The prices of cafes and restaurants seem excessive to me.

We really like the station and the facilities we will return for sure.
Children under the age of 3 cannot enter the Encamp funicamp, but on the last day our 2-year-old daughter climbed a chairlift to go down from Soldeu to the town because the cable car did not work, which was very dangerous.

Skiing in Grandvalira was a pleasant discovery because the area is vast and lots of blue and red runs.
The quality of the snow was average because it was hot on the slopes (14 degrees). The piste signage is not very well indicated, fortunately we had the piste map to find our way.

The detachable chairlifts and the treatment of their workers. The people who answer the phones are charming.
Laziness of the track throughout the day. Being hot, it would be good to close a track for a couple of minutes to pass some machine to fix it, because at 11:30 - 12 in the morning there were some fatal tracks. Holding back a lot.

It is a large area which offers many tracks. Depending on the sector, they are different in terms of style and environment. The lifts are mostly very fast. We go from one sector to another very easily and especially by skiing! We don't have to work hours on the lifts like in some Alpine resorts.

I have been skiing in Grandvalira and other tracks for more than twenty years and in the end it is the most complete, for its services, ski lifts, how well the slopes work and the varied options you have in aprés ski
I have always been disgusted that they charge the entire pass when they only partially open. In the Alps they do not and it seems to me a show of respect towards skiers.

Conservation and facilities, almost very modern
In the chairs when you go with children you have to notify them to help you. The pistero a are usually on the verge of O with the mobile. We had a problem. One of the girls fell and the other was left hanging and I had to climb it as best I could. The pistero (a certain Sebastian), far from apologizing and asking if we were all fine, rebuked us and became cool. It is not the first time that I have problems with them.

Many tracks, good work with the snow, getting bored in Granvalira is impossible, very friendly tracks and cafeteria staff
The food a bit mediocre

It is one of the best ski resorts I know, I highly recommend it.
It seems to me ashamed that the shops of the station expel people from their facilities if they do not consume the food that is sold there despite having paid drinks or coffee. I do not have to eat the GARBAGE of food sold there if I want to be seated, for that I ask for coffee, something equally lawful for an establishment of this type. And the biggest shame is that the adjoining table, a family group enjoyed several coffees, without eating anything, and we were expelled for eating our food, despite emphasizing the consumption of coffee and drinks. A shame, and a third-world deal.

Very good facilities and availability to reach different parts of the mountain
I think the monopoly they have for teaching Ski or Snowboarding is an abuse. I have visited many mountains in the world and it is the first time that I have achieved that the only company that manages the classes is the same one that manages the facilities. There are only offers that they prepare and there is no competition that can offer plans adapted to the schedule of each client.

Finally we were in soldeu, very well, as all sectors, but it is true q quickly outgrew the area for beginners, but still did not have enough level to move to other sectors ...

The issue of class schedules in high season is a disaster. They give priority to those who buy in grandvalira Agencies assigned as the worst times.

School Grau Roig (gar neu) is very well equipped, what happens is that it was very crowded but also had a sufficient number of educators children spent a long time without skiing.

The ski instructor was fantastic and very patient. The tracks for them well defined and although the drag stopped from time to time, there was always someone nearby. We would have liked more information about the options available to children before going to prepare the best trip.
