When and where will the event take place?

The Skick Off Party will take place on Sunday, December 6, at the incredible Folie Douce in Alpe d’Huez, located at an altitude of over 2,300 metres.

The event starts at 14:30h, though the venue will be open starting at 09:00h for those who want to arrive early. Get ready to dance the night away to the DJ’s beats until the resort closes!

I’m not a skier—can I go to La Folie Douce without a ski pass?

Yes, you can still attend the event!

To get to La Folie Douce, you’ll need to take a ski lift, and while you can ride the lift without skis, you do need a lift ticket.

If you don’t ski, you can purchase a pedestrian lift pass directly at the resort’s ticket offices, which will allow you to ride the lift up and down to enjoy the party. However, if you’d rather go directly to the Moose Bar, you won’t need a lift pass, since it’s located at the base of the slopes and is accessible without taking the lifts.

How to get to Folie Douce? Information on the ski lifts

There are two ways to get there:

• By ski: Right next to the Folie Douce is the Télémixte Marmottes 2 lift—you can’t miss it!

• From l’Alpe d’Huez: the most direct route is to take the Télémixte Marmottes 1, located right behind the Les Bergers Shopping Center.

How will I receive my wristband for event access and my FREE beer ticket?

You’ll find your passes at the front desk of your accommodation, with the following exceptions:

If you’ve booked accommodations through the Pierre & Vacances chain, a holiday rental or apartment that is managed by an agency, or if your accommodation is located in Bourg d’Oisans, Villard-Reculas, or Huez Village, you’ll need to pick up your passes at the Les Bergers ticket office in L’Alpe d’Huez ➞ How to get there
