With the ski pass included in your booking, you can enjoy the SKICK OFF Party and all the benefits from being an Esquiades.com customer, staying in any ski area of Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine, be it Auris, Vaujany, Villard Reculas, Oz or L'Alpe d'Huez.

However, for more comfort and to enjoy the SKICK OFF Party until the last minute, even when the ski lifts have already closed, we recommend you to stay in L'Alpe d'Huez itself and not in one of the more remote ski areas.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Skick Off Party at the Folie Douce de Alpe d'Huez

When and where is the event?

The Skick Off Party will take place on Sunday, December 7 at the incredible Folie Douce in Alpe d'Huez, located at an altitude of over 2,300 metres.

The event will start from 2:30pm, although the venue will be open from 9:00am for those who want to go earlier. Get ready to move your skeleton to the rhythm of the DJ until the station closes!

I'm not a skier, can I go to La Folie Douce without a ski pass?

Yes, you can still attend the event!

To access La Folie Douce you need to take a ski lift, and although you can go up without skis, you do need to have a ski pass.

If you don't ski, you can buy a pedestrian ski pass directly at the station's ticket office, which will allow you to go up and down the ski lift to enjoy the party. On the other hand, if you prefer to go directly to the Moose Bar, you won't need a ski pass, as it is located directly on the slopes and is accessible without ski lifts.

How to get to the Folie Douce? Information about the ski lifts

There are two ways to get there:

- Skiing: right next to the Folie Douce is the Télémixte Marmottes 2 lift, you can't miss it!

- From l'Alpe d'Huez: the most direct way is to go up with the Télémixte Marmottes 1, located just behind the Les Bergers Shopping Center.

How will I receive my wristband to access the event and the ticket for a FREE beer?

You will find the passes at the reception of your accommodation, with the following exceptions:

If you have booked accommodation from the Pierre & Vacances chain, a tourist or apartment that is managed by an agency apartment or if your accommodation is in the towns of Bourg d'Oisans, Villard-Reculas or Huez Village, you must pick up your ski pass at the Les Bergers de L'Alpe d'Huez ticket office ➞ How to get there
