Pradollano dawned white due to the snow that fell early Friday morning.
Sierra Nevada has lived up to its name this Friday night thanks to a squall that has left between 10 and 15 centimeters of snow that has allowed to renew the image of its mountains and consolidate the conditions on the slopes.
The bad news has been the wind, which has prevented the opening of the highest areas of the ski resort (Veleta and Laguna), while the rest has been conditioned its operation by the lack of visibility (Cauchiles), especially on the perimeter slopes.
This situation has limited the skiable offer this Saturday, which has remained in 33 skiable kilometers distributed in 43 slopes, although its opening has been progressive, with less than 10km in the early hours.
Also in the early hours of the morning, a section of the A-395 road in Mochachil and the A-4025 in Huéjar Sierra remained cut as a result of the snowfall during the early hours of this morning in the mountains of Granada.
As reported by the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT), in the case of the A-395 the level is red between kilometers 31 to 32 and black(passage of vehicles with chains) between 32 and 39, although the latter does not affect access to the ski resort, have clarified. Thus, the A-395 is open until the station and closed at the access to Hoya de la Mora.
