1 The European top 10:

Alpe d'Huez tops the ranking with 480 cm, followed by Laax, Grand Montets, Les Arcs, Les 2 Alpes, Le Grand Massif and Saas-Fee. Candanchú is 24th on the list, with 290 cm.

A little more than twenty days of spring, there are a total of seven resorts of the old continent open that report thicknesses above 400 centimeters: If we lower the level of 300 centimeters, then this figure reaches 23 resorts.

And in the 24th position is the first resort of the Spanish Peninsula, Candanchú, with 290 centimeters and that could raise its ranking if the forecasts for the coming days are fulfilled and receives the half meter more snow announced.

Les Grands Montets in third place with 420 centimeters.

But let's go back to the slopes with more than four meters of snow. The first, as we say, is Alpe d'Huez, which today offers 240 km of slopes with 480 cm of snow at altitude (3,330 m) and 105 cm at the base (1,125 m).

The resort of l'Isère is followed by Laax-Flims-Falera in the Swiss commune of the canton of Graubünden, which reports 214 km of slopes, 433 cm in height and 8 cm at the base (1,100 m).

The third position returns to the French Alps, Les Grands Montets - Argentière (Chamonix), with 21 km of slope s, 420 cm in height (2,765 m) and a base of 10 cm (1,252 m).

Les Alpes in 5th place with up to 410 centimeters.
