Grandvalira offers more than 205 km skiable, while Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís have 100% of the slopes and lifts open with thicknesses of up to 200 cm of powder snow.

Grandvalira opens 205 km of slopes these days.

The three new slopes in the ski area Encampadana in Grandvalira, the black slope La Capa in Arinsal and the wide freeride possibilities will be some of the main attractions for skiers.

The ski areas have prepared lots of music, snow activities for everyone and the best après-ski parties in L'Abarset for a spectacular Easter, and are already counting the days for the second edition of Snowrow.

Grandvalira Resorts are warming up their engines to offer a full Easter with the best conditions of the season, offering a postcard image with the current white landscape. Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal already have all their slopes and lifts open, offering 30 and 60 km of slopes respectively, and thicknesses of up to 200 cm of accumulated snow, while Grandvalira is practically at 100% with more than 205 km enabled.

The excellent snow conditions have allowed the Arinsal ski area to open La Capa, which does not have any snowmaking system, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy this black slope that comes from over 2.560 meters of altitude, which allows to make the descent with more unevenness of all Andorra linking different tracks, with more than 1,000 meters of unevenness until the base of the track Les Marrades, located at 1,550 meters of altitude.

Pal Arinsal keeps open the mythical slope of La Capa.

Easter will also be a good opportunity to discover the Encampadana area in the Canillo ski area of Grandvalira, which has a new chairlift, the Seig, and three new red runs, which are operational. With this new area, Grandvalira has added 5 new kilometers to the resort.

The good conditions will also allow the most adventurous skiers to enjoy the existing freeride areas in Ordino Arcalís, which is the queen resort for this practice, as well as in Pal Arinsal and Grandvalira.

Après-ski in L'Abarset with DJ top and two Brunch Electronik

The après-ski par excellence in the Pyrenees, L'Abarset, has prepared a heart-stopping end of season. This Friday March 15 comes a new edition of the Brunch Electronik with the Guatamalteco DJ Gordo who will present his Extended Set at the Andorran venue, tickets for which have been sold out for days. On Saturday , the Italian Fedele and his sound fusion of electro, techno and emotional expression will pass through the Tarter booth.

Easter will not rest and will feature the presence of DJ Fer Br(March 23), Toy Tonics, Gee Lane and Sam Ruffillo(March 28), and Wally Lopez(March 29), apart from the usual DJs of L'Abarset Edu_Art and Patricia Mantovani. Sundays will continue with the proposal "Friends & family - We love 80's & 90's" that encourages to enjoy L'Abarset as a family with the reversioned hits of those decades.

On Monday, April 1, L'Abarset will close Easter with the last edition of the season's Brunch Electronik, which will bring John Digweed, Øostil, Mariano Mellino and more. The format has been a success after another in each edition and despite still missing more than two weeks, there are only the last tickets to enjoy it.

L'Abarset maintains an extensive musical program.

Second edition of Snowrow

The final stroke of the season in terms of electronic music will arrive just after Easter with the second edition of Snowrow. This festival organized by the company elrow returns to Andorra with its winter version after the great success of the first edition in which more than 8,000 people a day enjoyed the music, activities, contests and competitions.

The Snowrow 2024 will take place in the Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa ski areas of Grandvalira from April 4 to 7 with a day format for all audiences in which there will also be activities on the slopes, and a night format for over 18 years old with the characteristic elrow style.

The Black Mamba Race by Joan Verdú

On Saturday, March 23, the first Mamba Negra Race by Joan Verdú will take place , a new type of competition never seen before in the Pyrenees designed to also offer moments of pure fun.

The tests will take place in Àliga, the FIS World Cup track located in El Tarter, and will consist of a giant Slalom of long duration with up to 8 activities distributed in the middle, where a water pool stands out. The event is born with the intention of becoming a different social competition, unique and open to everyone.

Moments of luxury with music and good food

The moments of pause during the ski day are always part of the experience at Grandvalira Resorts, moments that bring calm, rest and good energy thanks to the good atmosphere that the terraces of the different ski areas give off with their careful design, good gastronomy and live music.

This Saturday, March 16, DJ Lisa Rose will be livening up the high cuisine of the Racó de Solanelles terrace with her electronic music, while the Cala Bassa Costa Rodona (Pas de la Casa) will hold an après-ski Toy Room party in the purest Ibizan style. Continuing with the format that has fascinated skiers this season, the IQOS Terrace in Soldeu will continue with its original performances of magic, art and live electronic percussionists.

The terraces of the In The Snow Veuve Clicquot (El Tarter), the Vermutería Petroni (Soldeu), the Refugi de Pessons (Grau Roig), or the San Miguel terrace (Pas de la Casa), will be other areas of Grandvalira where you can enjoy a good break.

As for Pal Arinsal, the terraces of the Niu, the Xiringuito or Pla de la Cot will also have DJs to accompany the rest time on the weekend and almost every day of Easter, while in Ordino Arcalís the terraces of La Coma, Planells or the Refugi de les Portelles, among others, stand out. The Kokoi terrace will hold an après-ski party with an 80's theme.

Terraces and gastronomy in Grandvalira

Winter activities in the snow, beyond skiing

Grandvalira Resorts offers many activities for skiers and non-skiers alike. In addition to the fun attractions of the Mon(t) Magic Family Park in Canillo, such as the zip line or the mountain slide, and the activities in Pal Arinsal, such as the Big Airbag or the sledging track, the current conditions make it the ideal opportunity to enjoy some of the most glamorous and adventurous activities. The current conditions make it an ideal opportunity to enjoy some of the most glamorous and adventurous activities such as snowmobile excursions, mushing (dog sledding) or paragliding, a recently launched activity that combines paragliding with landing on a ski slope.

There are also conditions to practice ice climbing in Ordino Arcalís, a new adventure this season in which you can climb icy waterfalls, as well as guided snowshoeing or ski mountaineering tours with Grandvalira Mountain Guides or Adventure Center guides who will deploy all their knowledge to rediscover the resorts and their environment.

Accompany yourself with good gastronomy, either for lunch or dinner.

Grandvaira Resorts makes a clear commitment to offer good gastronomy with quality products and very well cared for surroundings. Among the nearly 90 restaurants distributed throughout the ski areas of the three resorts, some of the most emblematic restaurants that will be an essential visit this Easter, such as El Racó de Solanelles, the Llac de Pessons, the Arrossería Pi del Migdia or the Vodka Bar in Grandvalira, stand out.

The new bulthaup Grau Roig is one of the most exclusive options, with a maximum capacity of 16 diners and a glass tube design that allows you to feel surrounded by the snow. Skiers in Pal Arinsal will have to try the restaurants Coll de la Botella and Pla de la Cot, which are also a gastronomic reference, while in Ordino Arcalís the restaurant par excellence, if you want to enjoy a good high altitude and local cuisine, is La Coma.

When the sun sets, some of the restaurants get ready to show the quietest and most intimate version of the Andorran mountains with the night proposals. The experience is really special because to get to most of these restaurants you will have to go up in ratrac, ski mountaineering or snowshoeing, a truly magical and different experience.

100% slopes and 100% freeride. All open in Ordino Arcalís

In this regard, it should be noted that Pal Arinsal has the distinction of "Starlight" destination, recognized destinations without light pollution and where the stars can be seen in all their splendor. La Coma de Arcalís has prepared a very special themed dinner for March 23, taking advantage of the full moon.

To round off the experience in Grandvalira Resorts, Epic Andorra's unique accommodations such as the Domo Lodge or the Cabana Piolet are the perfect opportunity to enjoy the spectacular scenery offered by the current snowy landscapes of the mountain surrounded by luxury in a space with all the comforts and the exclusivity of being the only one. A more traditional and equally cozy option is the Refugio de Sorteny, which also offers dinners.

I'm not going to miss it, I'm going to Andorra to ski.
