The access of strong northern squalls from Thursday 20 and a last week of November with a lot of precipitation will allow to open on Saturday 29, if conditions are good, with 40 slopes that will add up to 54 km of trails spread between the areas of Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua. It was not given such a good start to the season since the 2019-2020 season in which snowfall of up to 90 cm allowed to open almost all of the station the last weekend of November.
Snowfall is expected to continue in the coming days, so data will be updated on the resort's channels. Baqueira Beret services are ready for the start of the season, including the recharge of the BaqueiraPASS for the most proactive skiers.
The countdown to kick off the 2025-2026 winter season in Baqueira Beret has begun with the arrival of very significant snowfall. The resort of Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu has received in a week squalls from the north, with temperatures in Cap de Baqueira that have reached -15ºC, and others from the northwest and some from the south that have left significant thicknesses of snow of different qualities. The severe cold for much of the week has also allowed the production of snow, which ensures the opening of the main arteries of the station.
The first significant snowfall arrived on Wednesday, Thursday, November 20, and intensified from Friday onwards, when between 30 cm (1800 m elevation) and 40 cm (2500 m elevation) of accumulated snow was recorded. During the weekend and both Monday and Tuesday , the intermittent snowfalls and the work of the slopes teams have consolidated these thicknesses while the forecasts point to more snowfalls during the next days, so the forecasts will be updated in the channels of the resort.

After the weekend, the forecast is to continue working to open more skiable terrain with the aim that, if the conditions are good, on Saturday, December 6, skiers and snowboarders will be offered the maximum possible skiable area.
With the opening of the season, the main services located in the different centers will be put into operation.
From the 27th, theWine Bar by Viña Pomal and the Xocolateria Jolonch in Plaça del Fòrumwill beup and running. The Montarto Hotel will receive its first winter guests on Friday 28th.
From the 29th, in Baqueira , the Moët Winter Lounge, Free Flow Bosque, Cinco Jotas Grill restaurant and Baqueira Bar 1500 will be operational. In Beret will serve the Bar Audeth and at the other end of the station will be open the Bar Bonaigua. The Häagen Dasz cafeteria will also be open in the Ruda Shopping Center.
The children's areas open will be BabyBAQUEIRA 1500 and BaByBAQUEIRA 1800. The seven Baqueira Stores around the resort will be open offering rental, sale and repair of equipment. The customer service office will be open from 8:15 am to 5:45 pm.
