A special date is approaching as is Valentine's Day and there is no better gift to enjoy love as a couple than to enjoy skiing and be complicit in endless snow experiences in the idyllic surroundings offered by Grandvalira. The Andorran Snow Domain continues at full capacity and is presented as the ideal setting to live a romantic, fun and original getaway on Friday, February 14. In addition to having open all its skiing domain, the largest resort in southern Europe has a wide variety of activities and unique experiences in the heart of the Pyrenees, to enjoy alone or in groups, which go beyond skiing. A romantic sleigh ride with dogs, a relaxing toast with champagne on the exclusive terrace of the Clicquot Snow Club, a crazy descent to the Màgic Gliss, an intimate dinner under a sea of stars or sleeping in the middle of nature with all the comforts are some of the Grandvalira proposals to live a Valentine's Day of the most intense and special that, like the weekend, is expected to be accompanied by favorable weather conditions.

Start the day sharing the passion for skiing

There are schools in all of the areas and they are the first to try the snow, great if you want to be one of the first to go down a slope. And for the more adventurous couples there are mountain skiing routes with guides to crown the most emblematic peaks of Andorra, as well as helieskiing or private off- slope skiing and freestyle lessons for those in love with adrenaline.

A popular competition open to all audiences is added to this weekend's agenda on Sunday 16 at SnowPark El Tarter. The Banked Slalom is the perfect excuse to bite with the couple in a circuit full of fun obstacles. The day before, on Saturday, you can also enjoy as a spectator the FIS Memorial Arnaud Cordonnier competition, in the SnowPark Xavi Sunrise. And from 3pm to 9pm the SnowPark Peretol will be operational for another week, the only night in southern Europe.

A delicious picnic surrounded by nature

One of the best kept secrets of the two centers that manage the activities at the resort, the Grandvalira Mountain Park and the Adventure Center, is the possibility of making a surprise stop to impress the couple with a delicious picnic in the middle of nature.

Beyond skiing, the two centers have an endless list of activities. One of the big claims for Valentine's Day is to enjoy a romantic sleigh ride with dogs in the Grandvalira-Grau Roig sector, snowshoes and the liveliest can enjoy snowmobiling in the Pas de la Casa.

This club from the Soldeu and El Tarter sectors, open to snow and gastronomy lovers, will receive the visit of the prestigious chef who owns the restaurant Les Cols de Olot, Fina Puigdevall, awarded 2 Michelin stars, which with its cuisine will pay tribute to the feminine leadership and entrepreneurial, passionate and innovative spirit of Madame Clicquot.
