Total Fight Snowboard
The 10th edition of the Grandvalira Total Fight Masters of Freestyle opens with holding snowboard test Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 March. This competition will take place in the Snowpark El Tarter, with 5 of 6 possible stars in the World Snowboard Tour, the largest circuit of this type internationally.
Involving many of the leading riders in the art world, with many top ten among them. Ulrik Baderstcher, Giermund Braaten, Brage Richenberg, Roope Tonteri, Billy Morgan, Kyle Mack and Charles Reid, Grandvalira Total Fight Winner 2013, are just some of the names to watch in this important event, one of the most important of the season freestyle. Do not be short of the top Spanish riders of the moment, as Carles Turner, RubénVergés or Miguel Moreno.
On Thursday the 27th will be the day the riders may make contact with the new circuit designed in the Snowpark El Tarter and train their tricks. On Friday 28 from 11:00 to 14:00 and the qualifying session will be held, while the final 29 will arrive on Saturday between 13:00 and 15:00 hours.
It is recalled that the next week, from Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 April, the Grandvalira Total Fight is held in the form of freeskiing.
ElectroSnow
The weekend coinciding with the Total Fight Snowboard Grandvalira hosts the second edition of the festival ElectroSnow. On Friday 28 and Saturday March 29, also in the area of El Tarter, lovers of electronic music and snow have a date with international DJs the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Simian Mobile Disco, Max Cooper-Rone or Sonja Moonear.
ElectroSnow attendees, the main stage will be open from 22:00 to 3:45 pm, will also enjoy many other performances on the outdoor stage Red Bull Academy (from 22:00 to 02:00) and on stage high , located on the terrace Migdia Pi El Tarter and operate from 12:00 to 20:00. The advance ticket price is 20 euros for one day and 35 the two, while at the ticket will rise to 22 euros per day.
Forecast for the weekend
As the weather and snow for this weekend from 29 to 30 March conditions are concerned, Grandvalira will open virtually 100% of its ski area, with about 118 tracks and 210 kilometers available. The natural snow in the Andorran domain has been reinforced with soft snowfall in recent days and vandesde thicknesses 90 to 230 inches. Temperatures for the next few days will be cold but no rain facing the weekend are expected.
Almost all the facilities of the domain, restaurants, schools and other facilities will be fully operational. We can say that as the Snowpark El Tarter will be closed for the disputed Total Fight, public freestyle has available the other two snow parks Station, located in the area of Grau Roig: Xavi Park and Sunset Park Peretol with latter times from 17:00 to 22:00 from Tuesday to Sunday.
