The andorran ski resort Ordino Arcalís kicks off summer season this Saturday, June 3, with the opening of the access to the Tristaina solar viewpoint, one of the most visited sites of the resort during summer since its inauguration two years ago. Located at an altitude of 2,700 meters, the circular structure of the viewpoint offers panoramic views of the valley and the lakes of Tristaina and is one of the star excursions of the resort, which last summer was visited by more than 63,000 people.
The viewpoint can be accessed with the Creussans chairlift and the Tristaina gondola lift, which will operate from this Saturday on. The first will remain open every day until November 1 between 8.45 am and 5 pm, while the second will be open every weekend and holidays until November 1, except from June 24 to September 12, which will operate every day from 8.30 am to 5 pm. In this sense, during the opening periods of the gondola lift, the final stretch of the Coma road will remain closed so that cyclists can enjoy the last 4.5 kilometers without road traffic.
To access the two ski lifts during summer, Ordino Arcalís offers 3 types of day ski passes :
- The Gold Skipass, which allows one ascent and one descent with the Creussans chairlift and the Tristaina gondola lift.
- The Simple Skipass, which includes an ascent and descent by one of the two lifts.
- And the Bajada Skipass, with which you can return with the Tristaina gondola lift or the Creussans chairlift.
It should be noted that the Andorra Pass, Nord Pass and Mountain Pass season ski passes include access to the ski lifts of Grandvalira Resorts in summer, and both the Andorra Pass and the Nord Pass also allow you to enjoy the circuits of the Bike Park of Pal Arinsal.
La Coma Restaurant also reopens its doors to offer its high mountain cuisine and rice dishes during the same dates and times as the Creussans chairlift. Likewise, the Refugi de Sorteny remains open every day, either for overnight stays or for the restaurant service with its traditional Andorran cuisine, with which you can complete the experience in the Ordino valley, which is part of the Biosphere Book by UNESCO. In this sense, both Ordino Arcalís and Refugi de Sorteny have applied for the seal of tourism companies committed to the Biosphere Book.

A world of infinite proposals in Grandvalira Resorts
The other resorts of Grandvalira Resorts are also finalizing the details for the summer hotel offer. Pal Arinsal will open the Bike Park on weekends from June 9, while the Mountain Park will open from June 23, as well as most of Grandvalira's proposals, such as the Mon(t) Magic Family Park in Canillo, the golf course in Soldeu, and the proposals in Llac de Pessons, in the Grau Roig ski area.
