Those of you who already know us know that we are experts in ski holidays in Andorra. We have been offering hotel + Ski Pass ski holiday packages for more than 20 years, at the best price and with many additional services to make your ski holiday an unbeatable experience.

But what about those who have never tried skiing in Andorra? Well, today we will tell you the main reasons why you should consider booking your next ski holiday in Andorra.

Ski resorts in Andorra

The small country of Andorra is located between Spain and France and despite its size, it offers a large number of shops and shopping centers, hotel complexes and, above all, kilometres of quality ski slopes.

And it is that in Andorra we can find 3 ski resorts, Grandvalira, Vallnord Pal - Arinsal and Ordino - Arcalís, considered among the best ski destinations in Europe and that offer more than 300 km of ski slopes for all levels. Whether you ski with children, or if you have decided to spend a ski holiday with friends, you will be able to find your corner among the domains of Andorra.

Grandvalira stands out as the biggest ski resort in Andorra

Skiing in Grandvalira

The Grandvalira ski resort is one of the largest in Europe, with 210 kilometres and a total of 128 slopes for all levels. Its 64 lifts and gondola lifts will take you to a height of up to 2,640 meters and with a single Ski Pass you will enjoy the entire ski area that makes up Grandvalira like never before.

In addition to skiing, in Grandvalira you can practice many other activities related to snow. So, if you want to spend more days in the snow, you can fill them with fun, snowshoeing, going on a snowmobile, or enjoying an exciting ride on a dog sled while mushing. There is even a park for adventure activities!

The Vallnord Pal - Arinsal ski area is an excellent option for a ski holiday with the family.

Skiing in Vallnord Pal - Arinsal

The Vallnord - Pal Arinsal ski resort has 7 green slopes and 17 blue ones for those who are skiing for the first time or have just started their adventures in the snow, and 17 red slopes and 4 black ski slopes, ideal for experienced skiers. There are a total of 31 mechanical lifts that allow you to climb to peaks of a maximum altitude of 2,560 meters, to later enjoy skiing down to the start of the ski slopes.

In Vallnord Pal Arinsal you will find different services directly on the slopes, such as bars and cafés, where you can take a break between descent and descent, or restaurants that are ideal for eating at midday or after your day of skiing. The resort has 2 ski and snowboard schools with 200 qualified instructors, ready to help you learn the correct skiing technique. And if you go skiing with children, you can leave them in the snow gardens that you will find directly on the slopes, where they will learn while playing with the snow.

Ordino-Arcalís is perhaps the most versatile ski area in Andorra

Skiing in Ordino - Arcalís

The Ordino Arcalís ski resort is located in the Ordino Valley, in Andorra. Thanks to its orientation towards the northeast, the snow quality is very good during the winter and allows good skiing even at the end of the season. Another reason for booking a ski break on its 30 kilometres of slopes, is that it is at a considerable height, between 1,940 m and 2,625 m.

Ordino Arcalís is a very versatile resort. It has slopes for all levels and offers a wide variety of areas to practice different types of skiing and snowboarding. It has 9 green slopes and 6 blue ones for skiers who have just started in the white sport. Furthermore, it is important to underline that Ordino Arcalís is home to the longest ski slope for beginners in the Pyrenees, the Megaverde, with a length of 8 kilometres.

Easy access

There are many alternatives to get to Andorra. You can do it by car, by bus or by combining plane with transfer, thanks to its proximity to Barcelona and Toulouse airports.

On Esquiades.com, we want to provide you with all the facilities to be able to enjoy your ski holidays, so you can add the transfer from the Airport that will take you to your accommodation. Or, if you prefer, you can even opt for a rental car and hit the road to Andorra on your own!

Meals on the slopes in Andorra are a culinary delight

Exquisite gastronomic offer

As far as gastronomy is concerned, Andorra also benefits from being in the middle of two culinary capitals such as France and Spain: You can find the ideal combination of Spanish and French cuisine in the multitude of bars and restaurants directly on the slopes as well as in the hotels. A feast of flavors that will give your ski holiday a special touch.

The Caldea Thermal Centre is the place to relax after a ski holiday in Andorra

Relax in the thermal baths

Do you fancy a relaxing bath in hot springs? An ideal plan for both families and couples after a few days on the snow is a visit to the largest spa in Southern Europe - Caldea.

The center was built in 1994 and has been designed so that you can enjoy a wellness experience in hot springs full of contrasts. Likewise, its building is very characteristic and reminds us of the silhouette of the mountains.

The thermal waters that you will find in Caldea emerge at 70ºC, and are special for their properties; rich in sulfides and minerals, as well as sodium and oily as thermal plankton. These waters produce anti-allergic, healing and decongestant effects. Sounds good, doesn't it?

Well, don't hesitate and book your ideal hotel, include Caldea in your ski package, and save on your booking. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy relaxation among the mountains of Andorra at the best price, you deserve it!

Relax at Caldea after a long ski day

Everyone gets their money's worth at après-ski in Andorra

Wide variety of Après-Ski Deals

There is no better way to end your day on the slopes than with an engaging Après-Ski activity. Luckily, the ski resorts in Andorra have plenty of bars where you can enjoy a cold beer after a day of skiing, many of them with live musical performances.

In fact, Andorra is full of excellent pubs, clubs and restaurants where you can relax after a day on the slopes, so no matter where your hotel is, you will easily find a place near you for a couple of drinks after skiing ;)
