Ordino Arcalís is 100% open this Christmas season

Grandvalira Resorts will offer more than 150 skiable kilometres for the Christmas holidays that are just beginning and will have all the connections between the different ski areas operative.

The intense work of the slopes teams together with the drop in temperature has allowed to expand the skiable offer in the Andorran ski areas, where skiers will find some of the best conditions in the Pyrenees at the moment.

Thus, Grandvalira will have 90 km of connected ski slopes, so you can ski from Pas de la Casa to Canillo, passing through Grau Roig, Encamp, Soldeu and El Tarter . will offer 40 km and will operate the connection between the two ski areas through the cable car, and Ordino Arcalís will make 23 km available to skiers.

In addition, the resorts expect temperatures to be favorable for snow production for a few days, so that the skiable area can be expanded during the Christmas holidays, weather permitting.

One of the slopes where intense work is being carried out to open as soon as the conditions are met is the mythical Avet slope, which is being prepared for the big event of February 10 and 11, with the Women's Alpine Ski World Cup.
