And you're probably just as excited as we are to make sure your children have such a wonderful experience as you did as a kid.

How to choose the best ski resort for children?

There are many factors that can always influence to find the best adapted resort for the little ones, we mention the most important ones:

❄ Ski school: essential if your little ones have never put on skis before, the instructors will be able to teach them how to ski safely and confidently. Bear in mind that these first few runs are crucial: if your little one gets scared... Later on it will be more difficult for them to want to try again.

❄ Wide and easy slopes (green and blue): so that they feel comfortable and do not notice the presence of other skiers.

❄ Snow garden or playground: this is ideal for children who are not yet able to attend ski school. Here they will have a great time and enjoy the snow in the most fun way.

❄ Ribbon lifts: those where you don't have to sit down or let them drag you, i.e. a conveyor belt. You simply sit on the conveyor belt and let yourself be carried along (similar to an airport conveyor belt).

To be specific: in this resort you will find 6 snow gardens, 4 nurseries, 5 themed circuits and many activities. But which is the best area for me? In the Grau Roig area you'll find the Imaginarium Park, set by the Imaginarium toy brand, located in the Coma III and Piolet area. In the El Tarter sector (one of the most dynamic) you'll find a corner that has been especially created for the little ones, the Bababoom Circus. More than 500 metres long and designed for them. Amazing!

The Canillo area is the one that offers the widest range of leisure activities for skiing with children, with numerous easy slopes and a children's ski circuit called Mon Màgic (based on the legends of Andorra). This circuit is a fantastic world where kids can have fun skiing in its 3 area divided by levels: beginners, progression and high level. Skiing with children in Formigal

As its name suggests, it is located in the Anayet area and the facilities include play areas, a catering service with a menu for the little ones and even bedrooms to rest in! In the outdoor area you will also find a conveyor belt that is exclusively for children, who will be completely safe under the supervision of a team of experts.

Another area of the resort that children love is the Sarrios area or the Skity Formigal area, where there are also small spaces dedicated exclusively to them. In short: Formigal offers more than 9 km with everything you need to have a great time with your family.

Skiing with children in Sierra Nevada

Did you know that the ski season in Sierra Nevada is one of the longest in Europe? It is also one of the best ski resorts in Spain and has a very interesting family offer. It has a large area for beginners, 19 green slopes and 43 blue slopes. Ideal!

In addition, several areas have been built for children, for example: the sea slope and the Bosque slope in the Borreguiles area. A recreational area in the Mirlo Blanco area where you will find a fun Russian sledge, a "tubing" area, mini snowmobiles and an ice park. And for the little ones? Skiing with children in Baqueira

One of the best ski slopes in Europe can be found in this resort! Moreover, it is located in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Spain: the Catalan Pyrenees. Skiing down its slopes while watching the incredible views that surround you is priceless, it's incredible!

In Baqueira Beret you will find 3 areas for beginners, ideal for children to start skiing. It also has 6 green runs and 43 blue runs, great! The favourite place for many is the 1500 Park which, as its name suggests, is located at the 1500 level of the Baqueira area. It is designed for children from 3 months to 2 and a half years old, with an outdoor area for snow games and an indoor area with themed corners, so the little ones will have a great time getting used to the snow!

On the other hand, in the Beret area we find the Beret Park, integrated in an environment for the whole family and very close to the slopes. Here they can start learning to ski while they play. At 1800 metres above sea level in the Baqueira sector is another of the parks, with an ideal educational plan to learn basic skiing skills as well as about nature. Finally, in the Bonaigua area you will find the last children's park. It is only open on weekends and under reservation; in terms of facilities it is very similar to the one in 1800.
