Desman Cup opens the season of events in the Vallnord Bike Park

Thirty companies and associations of Spain, Andorra and France will participate in the 16th edition of this European event.

Vallnord begin its summer season this Saturday June 14th and Sunday the 15th, received the Trophy Desman. A three-day meeting in which the teams will carry out activities in the Pyrenees mountains. On Sunday June 16 the Bike Park La Massana will host the mountain bike event. The same day will be held the closing ceremony.

Desman Trophy includes various sports that test the physical abilities of the participants and teamwork, each team consists of six people. The competition aims to encourage concicencia values and promote human relationships, respect and solidarity, while tests are carried out in the various scenarios of the Pyrenees.

The competition, which began on Thursday, June 13 in the Catalan town of Vielha, continues today with a hiking route guidance to Luchon. During this test, in addition to completing the itinerary, participants have shown their creativity to get the best photographs of the route. On Saturday the 15th will be the cross country test for relays and rafting on the Segre Olympic Park of La Seu d'Urgell.

Descens to Vallnord Bike Park
The sector of Pal in Vallnord, will host test mountain bike downhill on Sunday June 16. Participants should follow one of the routes stilted Vallnord Bike Park and demonstrate their skills and strength in this discipline. Trophy Desman The day will end with a closing ceremony and awards ceremony at the Massana.
