Andorra takes a first step towards normality in terms of the restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic. The good data of new contagions and hospitalizations, allow to recover 100% of the capacity in all the facilities, and eliminate the obligation to wear a mask outside.
This measure therefore allows access to the ski lifts of Andorra's ski resorts without wearing a mask , although the Minister of Health recommends wearing it in crowds, such as the queue for a chairlift or gondola lift.
The restaurants recover their 100% capacity both indoors and outdoors, however the requirement to show a valid COVID passport is maintained. Until now, the tables could only be occupied by a maximum of 6 people, which was extended to 10 on the terraces of these restaurant establishments.
However, the data is so positive that the Andorran Minister of Health believes that these two measures, that of wearing a mask inside and presenting the COVID passport in certain establishments, will not last much longer either.
They are also thinking of opening clubs and nightlife.
The European Union has modified the COVID Certificate, which will not be valid among those people who have had the disease for more than nine months or have received the second dose.
