FGC Turisme has just released its Covid-19 protocol and which will be applied to all the group's resorts: La Molina, Vall de Núria, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé, Vallter 2000 and Boí Taüll.
If this winter you want to enjoy and ski in a resort in the Catalan Pyrenees , we have the answers to the questions that all skiers and snowboarders are asking. Let's go there!
What measures do skiers and snowboarders have to take?
- We have to protect ourselves. For us and for the rest of the users. From FGC they indicate that the use of the mask will be mandatory at all times. Don't forget it at the hotel!
- Hygiene plays a fundamental role. Wash your hands regularly and use the hydroalcoholic gels that will be distributed at different points in all the resorts of the FGC group.
- Respect the safety distance . Especially in the queues for the ski lifts, chair lifts and funiculars. You have to try to maintain a safe distance in all the facilities of the resorts and common areas.
- Make your reservation online with Esquiades.com and benefit from collecting the passes directly from your accommodation at some of the FGC group resorts. Thus, you will avoid crowds at the ticket offices and everything will be much easier.
Will access to the ski lifts be limited or restricted?
From the FGC group they indicate that they will not limit or restrict access or capacity to the ski lifts, chair lifts or funiculars . They are applying the measures recommended by the Catalan Association of Ski Resorts and Mountain Activities (ACEM), so only the use of the mask will be mandatory at all times .
In addition, the cleaning and disinfection of the facilities will also be intensified , that is, of the ski lifts, chair lifts and funiculars.
How will you know where there are disinfection points for skiers?
In each and every one of the Catalan ski resorts, there will be special signage and information on disinfection protocols to be followed through posters, screens, marks and stickers in common areas of passage . They will even give this information through the public address system as well.
Will the restaurants and bars at the resort be open?
Can ski equipment be rented in shops?
Of course. All the rental shops in the different ski resorts will be open and will be disinfected regularly . In addition, the equipment that has been rented will also be disinfected after each individual use.
Finally, remember that the measures and regulations marked can change at any time depending on what the health authority dictates.
