If you are flying into Geneva Airport, then you should book your short ski break to Chamonix. The driving time is about 1 hour (88 km) and you’ll be able to book as early as December 12 if you fancy a pre-Christmas ski break ;)

Nearest ski resort from Chambéry Airport
If you’re flying into Chambéry Airport (CMF), you are 1 hour and 30 minutes from Val Thorens. This ski resort is due to open at the beginning of December so you can book your short ski break to Val Thorens and be one of the first to hit the slopes. Nearest ski resorts from Granada Airport
Another great ski resort for a short ski break is Sierra Nevada, located in the South of Spain. This resort is a 40-minute drive from Granada Airport (GRX). You can also fly into Malaga Airport (AGP), which is 2 hours away.
If you visit Sierra Nevada for 5 nights, you can book your ski holiday with ski pass for around 235€ per person.
Nearest ski resorts from Barcelona El Prat Airport
Barcelona El Prat Airport has a regular bus service to Andorra, which is around 3 to 4 hours away (depending on the location of your hotel). This may be the furthest away from our list but this ski destination is also known for its cheap short ski breaks!
