For all those who have been following the Virtual Tour through the French Alps and for those who have just joined, today we bring you a surprise stop, since we could not forget about this mythical resort.

Do you remember that the first stop was Val Thorens , the highest resort in Les 3 Vallées?

Well today we are going to show you the neighboring resort of Méribel, in the heart of Les 3 Vallées , 1 hour from Val Thorens and for many people one of the most beautiful resorts in this domain.

# Information about the ski resort

The Méribel resort has 150 skiable km distributed between several nearby towns, such as Brides Les Bains, Les Allues and Meribel-Mottaret.

It has 34 green and blue slopes, 23 red and 7 black, making it ideal for traveling with the family and for the little ones in the house to start making their first 'wedges'.

# Things to do for non-skiers

For those who prefer not to ski, Méribel has multiple activities such as horseback riding in its equestrian center and around Lake Tueda, swimming in the heated pool, or even Yoga practice.

In addition, you can enjoy the magnificent French cuisine in its various bars and restaurants.

# Après-ski in Méribel

If you want to enjoy the best après-ski in Méribel, you cannot miss the Doron Pub, which has live music and large screens to enjoy great sporting events.

If you want to get to Méribel by car, from Barcelona there are about 7:30 minutes and from Madrid about 13:30 minutes.

If you prefer to forget about the car, a good option is to take a flight to Geneva or Lyon and from there rent a car or take a transfer to your destination (it is about 2h30 from Geneva or Lyon).
