Vallnord opens the season with 80% of open runs and thicknesses between 50 and 140 cm

The snow has been generous during the month of November in the Principality of Andorra, Vallnord thus begins the season opens hard and 80% of its tracks during the first weekend of the season, as well as complementary activities to skiing, Arinsal and Pal.

In Ordino, the Arcalís sector 85% open track with levels of between 60 and 140 inches of snow powder. 90% of the lifts will be available to visitors except for Els Feixans ski lift and Creussans chairlift, giving access to backcountry areas. Snow accumulation forced to delay the opening of these areas to the bridge of the Immaculate.

In Arinsal, strong wind last weekend has affected some areas that open progressively over the coming days. However, they will be available for 65% of tracks, with dimensions of 50 cm and 80% powder, and 60% of lifts. The link to Pal, by cable car is open.

Finally, Pal open 90% of the slopes and lifts 85%. As the lifts are closed to the Den and Els Coms and chairlift Serra. As for activities, excursions on snowmobiles, the múixing, snowshoeing or tobogganing, among others, will be available.

The caterers functioned in all three sectors, from this weekend, normally, offering a wide and varied cuisine. Also, 30% of temporary staff and work will take its place this Saturday, while the total uptake will be gradual until Christmas.

NEW SEASON
