Les Angles will open its ski season this coming Friday 28th

The snowfalls that have been falling this November, those expected again from Wednesday and the drop in temperatures that accompany this new episode of precipitation, allow a great start to the season for Les Angles. In this way the ski resort of Neiges Catalanes hopes to repeat the success of last winter.

At the moment there is no official data, but if that this weekend from the Tourist Office of Les Angles reported that only directly on the slopes were recorded up to 45 cm of snow. From the images published by the ski resort itself, the conditions are simply spectacular in the middle of the mountain.

The machines entered the slopes on Friday afternoon, and since then have been working in the ski area with the aim of opening the first lifts this coming Friday, November 28, as confirmed by the ski resort itself.

Before this snowfall, the resort was already starting to prepare the slopes with its own snow production thanks to the low temperatures of up to -10ºC recorded last week.

For the weekend, the forecast is to be able to open from the very base of the ski resort to the Roc d'Aude, passing through the Bigorre plateau. In any case, the snow has covered the entire skiable domain, although for the moment some slopes have been prioritized for this weekend with the aim of continuing to work the rest of the map for the Immaculate Conception.

The first skiers arriving this weekend will find the iconic Snow Bridge of Les Angles completely rehabilitated after almost 30 years of service. The renovation of this icon will serve to prolong its useful life, improve the comfort and safety of users, while pbooking the aesthetics and landscape integration of this strong element of the territory.
