Les 2 Alpes

Did you know that its name does not refer to there being two mountains? If not to the fact of including 2 towns: Venosc and Mont-de-Lans. Les Deux Alpes is located on the Leucem glacier and is the second oldest ski resort in the country (after Chamonix); It has 96 ski slopes for you to enjoy.

So, why should I go skiing in Les 2 Alpes? In the same town you will find ski lifts that make up an excellent connection of slopes for beginners. There’s several points in town that take you to the main skiing area. The first area with less unevenness is located just above the town where you’ll find the black slopes. A little further up you will access the Combe de Thuit ski area with long and easier slopes for beginners (mostly blue and red)

The third and smallest ski resort is the Lac Noir, if you are an intermediate skier, here you can enjoy the magnificent slopes since there are 600 m of unevenness and unsurpassed snow conditions. Finally, the last ski area is the Mont-de-Lans glacier with easy slopes ideal for those who are learning.

Val Thorens

The Val Thorens ski resort is located in the Belleville valley, a beautiful valley in the Tarentaise area of the French Alps. This ski resort is part of the great ski area of the 3 Valleys (Les 3 Vallées) and has many reasons why you have to visit it. Let us tell you about them!

Snow: In Val Thorens the snow is assured, the base of the station is at 2,300 m and belongs to the mountain chain with the most snow in France.

Freestyle: It is located in the La Plateau ski area, has two ski lifts, one for an alpine training slope and the other for park use.
