Pal Arinsal will open more than 40 kilometers of slopes this weekend
Grandvalira Resorts continue to offer more than 185 skiable kilometers and thicknesses of up to 110 centimeters. Despite the complicated weather conditions this season, the great work of the terrain teams, together with the large investments that have been made in recent years in improving the snowmaking network, have allowed Andorra's domains to continue to offer a good product for skiing during the winter.
As an example of these investments, the resorts of the Principality have released this year 110 new snowmakers that, in addition, consume 90% less energy, which ensures snow to more connection areas between ski areas or key areas.
Grandvalira currently has 120 skiable km, with all its ski areas connected, and snow thicknesses of up to 65 centimeters. Pal Arinsal currently has more than 40 skiable km, snow thicknesses of up to 60 centimeters and 83% of the ski lifts in operation, including the cable car linking both ski areas. Ordino Arcalís offers very good snow conditions with 25 km of open slopes and thicknesses of up to 110 cm. Thus, the Andorran resorts have optimal conditions for skiing on their slopes and the widest range of skiable kilometers in the Pyrenees.
As usual, the terraces and restaurants will accompany the ski days with music and good atmosphere these next few days. The weekend agenda comes with an interesting program of parties and music, essential in the Grandvalira Resorts experience.
The Brugal party returns to Cala Bassa Costa Rodona in Pas de la Casa with one of its live performances where different electronic instrumental musicians are complemented by a DJ base to offer an Ibiza-style experience. Instruments such as the electronic violin or saxophone have already passed through the iconic terrace, and this weekend the percussionist Marco Sonoro can be discovered.
For its part, the IQOS Terrace in Grandvalira's Soldeu ski area has the rhythm of its resident DJ Richy Vuelcom every day. On Saturday, the space has planned a special performance by violinist Valentino, known for his violin covers, who will be accompanied by Richy Vuelcom, and on Sunday the performance of graphic designer Helena Paradiso, who will customize with her art the ski equipment of anyone who wants it.
Other Grandvalira terraces that also promise a great atmosphere throughout the ski day are the In The Snow Veuve Clicquot (El Tarter), the Vermutería Petroni (Soldeu), the Refugio de Pessons (Grau Roig), or the San Miguel terrace (Pas de la Casa), among many others.
As for Pal Arinsal, you can enjoy a great atmosphere in the terraces of Niu, El Chiringuito or Coll de la Botella, while in Ordino Arcalís the terraces of La Coma, Planells or Refugio de las Portelles, among others, stand out.
L'Abarset is preparing for a new weekend of infarction with another edition of the Brunch Electronik for this Friday, February 16 with Miss Monique and Jan Blomqvist, for which all tickets have been sold out for days.
The party will continue, one more Saturday, with The Peak, the after party that allows you to continue enjoying at the venue until 2 am. The week will close, as every Sunday, the "Friends & Family We Love 80's & 90's" that invites the whole family to enjoy the rhythms of those decades to the DJ's touch.
