Peyragudes adds with three new ski slopes and another ski lift.

This winter, the Peyragudes ski resort will debut the 1000 ski lift, a black run and two marked itineraries.

Rarely can we see an expansion of slopes designed exclusively for the expert skier . This winter in Peyragudes they will open a new ski area, which makes them gain height, as well as some new tracks and tracks for freeride.

Under the name of 'Téléski des 1000', this winter a new lift will be launched that will allow us to approach the 2400 meters of Cap des Hittes, an area traditionally appreciated by good skiers and freeride lovers.

With the installation of this new ski lift, access to this area is facilitated. But not for this reason with overcrowding thanks to the very limitations in transport capacity of skiers that the ski lift itself offers.

In addition, the slopes and routes that are created are suitable only for skiers of a good level. Once we arrive at the starting area of the 'Téléski des 1000', we will find a new black track called 'Cap des Hittes' . If we take it, we will be able to make the longest route in the resort, as explained by the people in charge of Peyragudes.

The black run Cap des Hittes de Peyragudes allows a drop of 1,000 metres. Hence the name of the new TK des 1000.

The other two Peyragudes proposals for this coming winter are two marked and insured itineraries for freeride. They have been named Val de Montségu 1 and Val de Montségu 2. They will not be stepped on with piste machines and are maintained exclusively with natural snow. But they are included in the Ski Pass and will be controlled by the pister service, which will decide whether they can be opened or not depending on the conditions.

As explained from Peyragues, the routes to Montségu 1 and Val de Montségu 2 have a route of 3 kilometers each. They probably refer to the sum of the new route created, plus the descent that we can continue to do along the mythical Vallée Blanche itinerary that leaves us at a point where a free bus takes us back to the Les Agudes-1600 ski area.
