Snowfall allows Sierra Nevada to open more slopes and kilometres of skiing

The resort, after the 20 centimetres of snow recorded after Monday's snowfall, exceeds 23 skiable kilometres this Wednesday and adds almost all the skiable slope.

Sierra Nevada opens this Wednesday, December 8, the Antonio Zayas ski lift to give access for the first time this season to the Cordón and Panorámica slopes, in the area of Veleta, with which the Granada winter resort will add almost all the slope, the 1.100 metres between the vicinity of the Veleta peak and the urbanization of Pradollano.

The 20 centimetres of new snow accumulated after Monday's squall will also allow the opening of the Emilio Reyes chairlift to put into service La Visera, the first black slope that opens in this winter hotel offer.

All the areas already open to the public have experienced a significant change in the quality of the slopes, which now have powder snow on all slopes.

In fact, this Tuesday the skiable surface has grown by 4 new kilometres to reach 18, thanks to the commissioning of Tubo de Borreguiles and Veleta (partial) La Peña, Peñones or El Bosque. This Wednesday is expected to open 23 skiable kilometres.
