The resort of Gourettein the Atlantic Pyrenees, with 295 centimeters of fresh snow; Gavarnie-Gèdre, with 230 cm; and Cauteretswith 190 cm, both located in the Hautes-Pyrénées region.

Up to 295 cm of fresh snow in the Atlantic Pyrenees

Gourette resort

The privileged northern location of the Gourette resort, in the Atlantic Pyrenees, has been key to accumulate up to 295 centimeters of snow. The neighboring ski resorts of La Pierre Saint-Martin and Le Somport have harvested up to 170 cm; while Artouste is not far behind and covers its slopes with 130 cm of fresh snow.

230 cm in the ski resorts of the Hautes-Pyrénées and 125 cm in those of the Ariège.

Cauterets

Wonderful white landscapes are also offered by the ski resorts of the Hautes-Pyrénées. Gavarnie-Gèdre is the ski area with the most powder snow, 230 cm of fresh snow to make the most of the French Pyrenees. The Cirque du Lys in Cauterets, offers up to 190 cm of powder snow; 170 cm in the rest of the Cauterets resort and 50 cm in the Nordic area of Cauterets Pont d'Espagne. The Luz Ardiden and Piau-Engaly snow resorts are between 166 cm and 160 cm respectively. Saint-Lary offers heights of 120 cm; 100 cm of fresh snow are accumulated by Grand Tourmalet70 cm in Val-Louron, and 64 cm in Nistos and Hautacam.

Gavarnie-Gèdre

For its part, Ax 3 Domaines is the Ariège ski resort that has received the most snow this past week, with 125 cm of powder snow, although the neighboring resorts are not far behind. 100 cm have Ascou-Pailhères and Les Monts d'Olmes; 70 cm in Goulier Neige and Guzet; 60 cm of snow in Beille and Mijanès-Donezan; and 55 cm of fresh snow in Le Chioula.

Snowfall was also abundant in the Haute-Garonne and Pyrénées-Orientales regions. In Haute-Garonne, up to 110 cm of fresh snow accumulated in the ski resort of Luchon-Superbagnères; and about 40 cm in Le Mourtis.

In the Pyrénées-Orientales, snow has favored the ski resort of Porté-Puymorenswhich currently has one meter of snow. Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 accumulated 75 cm, while Formiguères has 60 cm. The resorts of Cambre d'Aze and Les Angles have 40 cm, while there is also powder at La Quillane and the Nordic resort of Capcir.

Camurac in the Aude has 15 cm.

In the Aude department, the Camurac snow resort recorded an accumulation of 15 cm. Its 15 km of slopes remain open for the enjoyment of visitors.
