Formigal reaches 70 kilometers of skiable slopes
After the snowfalls of the last few days, the Aramón Group resorts are expecting a weekend of sun, snow and activities for everyone. Both Cerler, in the Benasque Valley, and Formigal and Panticosa, in the Tena Valley, will host ski competitions such as the Sergio Belio Memorial Alevín Trophy in the Panticosa Stadium on Saturday 17, the Paco el Maestro Trophy in the Formigal ski area on Sunday 18 and the Cerler Aneto Children's Trophy both on Saturday and Sunday. For children on Sunday they can enjoy children's entertainment on the Snowy Sledges track.
In addition to sports competitions, the snow holding resorts have worked to expand skiable kilometers to add more than 125. This coupled with the forecast of sunshine and good weather make skiers can enjoy a weekend of ten.
Leisure and fun are not left behind this weekend, as the Formigal ski resort is hosting Nevalia, an event that revolves around music and in which the skiers will be able to enjoy a weekend of ten.The event brings together international artists of the stature of the duo W&W, regulars at major international festivals such as Tomorrowland and pioneers of the genre 'Big Room House' and Kevu. These are just some of the artists who will perform this Saturday, February 17 at Marchica, one of the seven stages of the new M Experience concept, and who will make attendees vibrate.
M Experience, the new musical experience of Aramon, opens its seven stages during this weekend in Formigal-Panticosa and they will bring together some artists such as: Isaac Corrales in the Izas Cabin, Mawei in the Igloo, Djs Maya in the Boutique Sarrios Terrace, David Nal in the Garmet Lounge Cabin and at nightfall in M the Club you can enjoy the New York artist Leo Sussana and the party L'après Nevalia in M Big Room.
For this weekend in Formigal is expected to open about 70 kilometers of slopes with thicknesses that reach one meter of snow in some levels. Its neighbor Panticosa also in the Tena Valley, puts in place 12 kilometers and the total skiable slope, with the Estrimal slope to reach the gondola lift up.
Already in the Benasque valley, in Cerler open 30 kilometers distributed by the ski areas of Molino and Ampriu, with thicknesses ranging between 30 centimeters to half a meter.
Meanwhile in Teruel, the ski resorts of Javalambre and Valdelinares open these days 3.6 and 8.1 kilometers respectively with thicknesses reaching 50 centimeters.
