In the middle of the Sierra de Gúdar-Javalambre, to the south of the province of Teruel, is the Javalambre ski resort. It is a modern and attractive station, where you can surf on the snow and feel in full contact with nature between soft mountains, steep slopes and wide forests.

In Javalambre, you will enjoy the heights, since its maximum height is 2,000 m. The station is divided into two zones: Lapiaz and Sabina, and brings together a total of 15 skiable kilometers spread over 14 tracks. In addition, there are no black tracks, and red ones can be counted on the fingers.

Also, its great improvements in accesses and facilities have allowed a spectacular increase of visitors from the Valencian Community, Catalonia and Aragon. The modern snow production systems, consisting of 166 guns, guarantee the practice of skiing throughout the winter season. Aramón Javalambre bets on the quality of its services, so that white sports fans can spend unforgettable ski days.

Nature lovers can make the most of their snow getaway on the new panoramic trails, which lead visitors through the perimeter of the ski resort, enjoying wonderful views of the Sierra de Javalambre.

Why ski in Javalambre?

If you are a beginner and you have never put yourself to the test on the snow, at your disposal you will have more than 40 professionals in the ski school who will be willing to teach you the basics to use the skis or the snowboard. With them, you can start sliding down the 4 green tracks, all located in the sector of Sabina. Later, when you feel confident and want to level up -or if you are more experienced-, you have 8 blue and 1 red tracks.

In case you like freestyle, the station offers a special area, with modules of greater difficulty, located in the sector of Lapiaz, and which is accessed from the Camarena chair lift. You will also find activities such as slalom, as well as a snowspeed on the Ventisquero track.

What services does Javalambre offer?

Although the station is young, we found a very familiar activity that everyone loves: sledges. For you to return to childhood and have a great time, on this track you can slide with a sledge, play ball and make a snowman.

For breakfast or lunch on the slopes, Javalambre has 6 restaurants and cafés. We recommend you visit the El Mercado restaurant, located in the sector of Sabina, and where you can enjoy a good homemade food in the area.

How to get to Javalambre?

To this magnificent Teruel station it is possible to arrive with different means of transport. We give you a few options below.

- White Bus. Javalambre station puts at your disposal a bus that takes you to the slopes. The departure is from Valencia, in front of the Palau de la Música, and Sagunto, from the roundabout next to the Renfe station.

- By car. You can move in your own vehicle and, if we have one, we remind you that with us you have the possibility of renting a vehicle.

From Teruel. The duration of the journey is 45 minutes. You must take the A-23 road to TE-620 and take exit 92 from the A-23 highway. You will have to continue later on the TE-620, following the signs of Javalambre.

From Valencia. The journey lasts 1 hour and 44 minutes, which makes it the fastest route. You must take the V-21 road, then the V-23 road. Once there, take the A-23 motorway towards the TE-620, in Aragón. Later, take exit 92 and continue on the TE-620 to your destination (you will see several signs to Javalambre).

Very comfortable station to enjoy with children. Few people on weekdays, super friendly ski lift staff
The hangers had a little grease that stained our trousers, rubbing and rubbing comes out but there is a little grease to clean

Perfect station for people who do not have an advanced level, since it offers a variety of blue slopes and everything is at hand given its small size. The personnel is very friendly.
The cafeteria is expensive, with very few tables, so you have to queue, and the range of products is very limited.

Family station, we did not have to wait long to go up to the lifts
That there were so few tracks open when we were there (if I remember correctly, only 5).

It is a good place to learn to ski.
Due to lack of snow, you cannot enjoy everything that the slopes can give you.

Great tracks for the smallness of the station. It was not overcrowded and to learn or intermediate level is fine.
Restaurant quite expensive and with little variety for the price.

Is a track that for beginners (my case) is quite good, very familiar, cozy and more or less quiet to learn.
There was little snow, but you also have to tell that time does not go along so there can be.
