Valdelinares

Today's Snow Report

Resort Closed
Total Ski Slopes
14
Snow depth
10 - 45 cm.

Do you want to discover the snow of Teruel? The best option is to visit the Valdelinares station, located in the Sierra de Gúdar, at 1,700 m above sea level. In addition, it is one of the municipalities located higher up in Spain.

A very curious fact about this magnificent station is that it is inverted: that is, the base of the station is in the highest part of the mountain, at 2,024 meters high. We can start skiing immediately, unlike other stations, where the first thing we have to do is get on the ski lifts before we start to slide through the snow.

The secret of Valdelinares is a perfect combination between the natural attractiveness of its black pine forests and the comfort of a family resort. It will be the ideal option if you want to learn to ski, since the station is ready for you to start in white sport and, at the same time, experience sensations on the slopes with the highest level of difficulty.

Valdelinares has 14 skiable kilometers spread over 14 tracks. And you will not have to worry about the lack of snow: the station has the most modern snowing systems, which guarantee snow throughout the winter season. The entire ski area has artificial snow, with a total of 169 snow cannons.

Why ski in Valdelinares?

The Valdelinares station is focused on a family audience and is a paradise for beginners. To get started in the world of snow, the station offers you an incredible ski school with more than 30 professionals that will help you start to slide on the snow through the 5 green slopes.

However, if you are more experienced and the green tracks already seem boring, you can descend by 5 blue and 3 red tracks. And if you are daring and love challenges, dare to try the snowpark located on the Villarejo track.

This year, the little ones have an exclusive track for them, the Skity track, where they can enjoy the snow in a natural environment specially designed for them.

What services does Valdelinares offer?

In this season, you and your family will find you sheltered and at home, since you will have plenty of activities that will make you have a great time. The little ones can enjoy playing in the snow garden, full of activities and with many toys such as: pintacaras, storytelling, drawings, music and dance. Also, they also have a Skity track with dubies and hilarious jumps.

To gather strength in your ski weekend, you have 5 restaurants and coffee shops. We recommend you visit the El Obrador coffee shop. There you can have breakfast with a typical Valdelinares cake and the teruel braid of Múdejar. And to eat, Valdelinares restaurant awaits you, where you will have the opportunity to taste delicious grilled meats and exquisite menus of the day.

How to get to Valdelinares?

Is it difficult to get to this station in Teruel? The answer is no! And do not worry, because it is possible to access with different means of transport. Below, we detail some of the best options.

- White Bus. The Valdelinares station puts at your disposal a bus that takes you to the slopes. The departure is from Valencia, in front of the Palau de la Música, and Sagunto, from the roundabout next to the Renfe station.

- By car. You can move in your own vehicle and, if we have one, we remind you that with us you can rent a vehicle.

From Teruel. The duration of the trip is 1 hours and 6 minutes (in total, they are 57.8 km). To start the route, you must take the A-226 road, and then continue along the Alcalá road until you reach the Los Mases road. Continue on this last road and follow the signs to Valdelinares.

From Valencia. The fastest route lasts 1 hour and 55 minutes (144 km). Take the V-21 road, and then, the A-23 towards Aragón. Later, you must take exit 76 from the A-23 and join the A-228. Continue on this road and follow the signs to Valdelinares.

The state of the station in general is good, it is welcoming and the slopes are entertaining.
It's a bit messy if you've never been. At first it was difficult for us to get hold of the distribution, red tracks converge on green ones and it is a bit overwhelming, there are sections where pedestrians come together, people spending the day, groups that go from one track to another and beginners all together and it is a bit chaotic. When you arrive, the signage is not very clear and many people crowd together, the spaces are small.

Anything
To begin with, the queue of cars began about 2km before reaching the slopes and by the time we got to the car park lot we realized that there was no one helping with car traffic, then the instructions to find out where to pick up the equipment and the ski pass were horrible The organization was terrible, it would have been easily solved with a couple of people at the entrance who could be asked or given directions. Then the slopes were ice rather than snow, quite a bad experience, a shame...

Very good value for money with good snow and plenty of open slopes
In high season there were endless queues at some ski lifts and it was very poorly regulated (many people got in as they wanted)

Everything has been great, except for the time that the whole storm has caught us, but no one is to blame for that. I ended up in the infirmary, thanks for being so kind, affectionate and efficient, from the Xhicos who transferred me on the motorcycle as well as all the staff who attended me. Including the restaurant I arrived at when they had practically closed and they still gave us some sandwiches for the road. Really, that the attention has been exceptional. Thank you very much to all of you who have come across me and Merry Christmas !! ????????????
Nothing negative.
