On the weekend of March 5 and 6, the Arinsal Snowpark will be the scene of the second edition of the slopestyle competition FreeSmoking Style, a test that combines jumps and rails and / or drawers .

The ASP snowparks shapers team will prepare for the occasion three special jumps (big jumps) and a handrail or drawer module (jibbing), to make the test more spectacular.

The Pal Arinsal sector will host this amateur competition, sponsored by smoking paper Smoking.

The Snowpark will be open for users so they can train before the competition. From 11 in the morning, the ChillSmoking area will open, a space where you can enjoy a good atmosphere with live music by DJ Bruno Alexandre de FlaixFM , various beverages, barbecue, gifts and Yatekomo de Gallina Blanca.

This day the competition will take place from 11 in the morning. The test will consist of two qualifying rounds: the first will be at 11.30 and the second, after one hour, at 12.30.

The judges will value the style, creativity, difficulty and execution of the tricks. the winners will be announced in the final, which will take place at 2:00 p.m. And from 3:30 pm, the prizes will be awarded to the winners of the second edition of the FreeSmoking Style.

How to register?

Registration is open to all freestyle fans over 16 years, whether they practice skiing or snowboarding. The numbers, which have a cost of 10 euros, must be collected and must be paid to the Customer Service Arinsal next Saturday, from 9.00 to 10.30, and next Sunday, from 9.00 to 9.30.

Registration will be open until Thursday, March 3, and to register you must send an email to: esedano@vallnord.com.

The winner of the snowboard category will receive a skateboard (courtesy of Slidewayz) and a Canon camera. And the Freeski winner will receive some Salomon skis (courtesy of Pico Negro) and a Canon camera .

In addition, Smoking, San Miguel, Flaix FM, Coca-Cola, Vita Coco and Yatekomo will award prizes for the second and third classifieds of each modality, and gifts for all participants, and will also offer free food and drink.
