1 The Feast of the Lamb as a climax to the month of August

A summer vacation enjoying hiking, the mountain and its lakes? Wanting the smallest of the house to inherit the passion for nature? The Aramón group offers one more summer the program 'Become a mountaineer' so that visitors of Cerler and Panticosa take their first steps on the mountain and do it in a safe way, to spread the passion for this territory, so that they enjoy crowning peaks of more than 2,000 meters or to regain strength with a good barbecue overlooking some of the highest mountains in the Pyrenees. This Saturday, July 6, Cerler starts the chairlift of Aneto and Panticosa, the cable car, in addition to the restoration services of Ampriu and Petrosos, respectively.

The 'Become a mountaineer' experience is a summer initiative of the Aramón group that takes place at Cerler and Panticosa resorts. In each of them, a professional guide accompanies visitors in their first trekking steps, and does so during simple routes in which to crown different summits of Cerler of more than 2,000 meters or in which to enjoy the Iberians of Panticosa. To participate, it is only necessary to have acquired the chairlift ticket in Cerler well or that of the cable car in Panticosa. In both cases, the activity starts right at the point of arrival of both lifts.

The Cerler ski resort will open this Saturday, July 6 and will remain open until Sunday, September 1. The Aneto chairlift will be launched, a ski lift that starts from the Ampriu area and takes visitors to the Colra de Sarrau, at 2320 meters of altitude. It is an ideal place to see the tops of Maladeta, Posets, Perdiguero or the roof of the Pyrenees, the Aneto. And for those who love to walk, the ideal place to start different excursions.

Those who approach the valley of Benasque, in addition, may participate in the program Become a mountaineer. It is an experience in which, by the hand of a professional guide, they can crown the Cerler peak of 2407 m -Monday and Saturday-, Cogulla with its 2387 m -Wednesday- or the 2728 m of Gallinero -jueves-. Excursions with which to learn and grow gradually as mountaineers in peaks located at the foot of the great giants of the Pyrenees - there are about 60 peaks of more than 3,000 meters of altitude in this area.

And for the little ones in the house to be passionate about the mountain too, it returns 'Little Giants' (Tuesdays and Saturdays), where children will learn what to carry in the backpack, how to orient themselves or how to walk on a slope.

Panticosa also opens this Saturday, July 6 and will keep the activity until August 25. From Tuesday to Sunday, visitors will be able to get to know the Iberians of Asses and Sabocos (an excuse of just over an hour) by the hand of a professional guide. They are routes to do as a family in which the 'mountaineers' will be able to know, in addition to the spectacular landscapes of the Tena valley and its lakes, the flora and fauna of these mountains. You can check all the information of the program 'Become a mountaineer' by clicking here.

The Feast of the Lamb as a climax to the month of August

Become a mountaineer is the main activity of the ski resorts of the Aramón group in summer, but there are more activities to be passionate about the mountains in the destinations of the valley of Tena and Benasque. It should be remembered that in both ski lifts (Aneto chairlift and Panticosa cable car) you can climb with the MTB to make different routes. There are also hiking, trail running.

Among the events, highlight a new tribute to farmers. This is a new edition of the Lamb Festival that celebrates Cerler resort. It will be Saturday, August 24, a day in which 600 portions of Ternasco de Aragón will be distributed. There will also be traditional games, craft market and live music. Tickets can be purchased in the area, that day from 10.30, and also in advance both on the web and at the offices of Cerler 1500.
