1 Success of the new cafeteria La Choza

Baqueira Beret has opened some 65 km of slopes in the Immaculate 2023

The resort of Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu has had open during the hotel deals for travelling in December, between 6 and 12, an average of 65 skiable km distributed in the 3 ski areas of Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua.

Almost all of Baqueira Beret 's services were in operation for the approximately 50,000 skiers and snowboarders who visited the resort between December 6 and 10. The weather has been changeable, alternating days of splendid sunshine with cloudy days with precipitation. After the long weekend, the ski resort is working to continue adapting the facilities and expand the skiable area to the maximum in the coming weeks in preparation for the Christmas holidays, provided that the weather is good.

The meticulous management and tireless work of the mountain teams in the weeks prior to the hotel deals for travelling in December with snow production, accompanied by the natural snowfall recorded, have allowed Baqueira to offer up to a maximum of 67 km of trails with 42 open slopes and 28 lifts in operation. The coldest day at the resort was on Friday, December 8 with temperatures of -5º C at elevation 1800 and in general during this week the snow quality conditions have been powder-hard with thicknesses between 30 cm at medium altitudes and 10 cm at high altitudes.

The three ski areas have been opened: Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua.

Success of the new cafeteria La Choza

The vast majority of the ski resort's catering services have been open, starting with the brand new La Choza cafeteria, which has been a great success, offering a quick snack offer in Baqueira's 1800 m elevation, which has proved to be a great success, especially in the winter months.This has proved to be a great success, especially on days of unstable weather when skiers have sought refuge from the difficult weather conditions.

Themed restaurants such as the 5J Grill Baqueira, the Moët Winter Lounge or the Refugio San Miguel, have worked tirelessly offering their varied offer. In the Forum area of Baqueira 1500: the Hotel Montarto, the Borda Lobató, the Winebar by Viña Pomal and the Drinkery pub have served the large number of people who have visited the area directly on the slopes. The bridge has also had music at Moët Winter Lounge and Baqueira Bar 1500 where Dj Faby, DJ Yuli, Luca Feller and Carlos de Peralta, among others, have played.
