The set of six ski resorts managed by FGC slightly exceed, by 500 people, the figures achieved on the December 2021 long weekend, reaching 47,019 in 2022.
All of these winter resorts will progressively increase their open ski area as weather conditions permit to ensure a Christmas holiday with many open services.
The mountain stations managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) have received a total of 47,019 people during this December long weekend, including skiers and users of other snow activities.
The snowfalls at the end of November and those at the start of the bridge on December 5 have favored the influx during this week, where the figures for the same period in December 2021 have been exceeded , when the six stations gathered a total of 46,550 visitors. It should be remembered that it has been a very long bridge and the figures this year have been recorded from Saturday the 3rd to Sunday the 11th of December.

It should be noted that this maintenance of the figures for 2021 confirms the recovery of snow tourism activity in the mountain territory, since they are 19% higher than those of 2019 when 39,000 people visited the FGC stations, on a bridge, this yes, of shorter duration.
The six ski and mountain resorts of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya kicked off the winter season between December 2 and 3. Regarding the detail of people who have visited each station:

The snowfall registered at the end of November and the beginning of December and also thanks to the production of snow, the thicknesses in the stations have been sufficient to open the main slopes with a maximum snow level of 70 cm in the Boi Taüll station. In fact, at the FGC stations located in the Lleida Pyrenees, a snowfall of almost 30 cm was recorded.
During these holiday days, the recreational parks of the different seasons have worked with many visitors, most of them boys and girls, wanting to enjoy the first snow of the season.
On the other hand, at a competitive level, highlighting the celebration on December 10 and 11 of the first two tests of the Espot-Valls de Àneu 2023 Spanish Mountain Ski Cup in Sprint and Vertical modalities. The organization has been carried out by the Espot Esquí Club Valls d'Àneu (EECVA) together with the Spanish Federation of Mountain and Climbing Sports (FEDME) and the Pallaresa station.
It should be remembered that FGC Turisme is preparing to organize the ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Championships from February 27 to March 5, 2023 in Boí Taüll.
Looking ahead to the tourist ski season, the slope preparation and maintenance teams at the six FGC Turisme resorts continue to work on snow production in order to ensure skiing and snowboarding for the Christmas holidays.
