SNÖ Hotels expands its portfolio in the Formigal ski resort

The SNÖ Aragón Hills of Formigal ski resort

Mazabi, a company specialized in real estate asset management, has formalized an agreement with SNÖ Hotels for the management of what was until now called Hotel Aragon Hills & Spa to be renamed SNÖ Aragón Hills, located in the Formigal ski resort.The new name is SNÖ Aragón Hills, located in the ski resort of Formigal (Huesca, Spain).

The SNÖ Aragón Hills, a 10,339 m2 hotel with 157 rooms of 4* range, is positioned as an outstanding destination in the Formigal-Panticosa ski resort, receiving more than 83 thousand visits per year.

With the aim of offering a differential and unique experience in Formigal, SNÖ Hotels has developed a completely renovated concept for this establishment. Oriented to an adult public, the space will offer different services specially designed for the customer, through personalized experiences throughout the year. In addition to this, the design of a new restaurant strategy and the development of Après-Ski, another of the main hallmarks of the accommodation, will be added. Together, these elements aim to make the SNÖ Aragón Hills Hotel one of the most experiential leisure hotels in Formigal.

In addition, as part of its focus on the local culture of the area, this hotel will foster relationships with different related businesses in the area, thus strengthening ties with the community and contributing to enriching the region's tourism offer.

Through Mazabi's agreement with the SNÖ Hotels group, this establishment in Formigal becomes part of the hotel chain, with presence in Boí, Vall d'Aran, Valle del Roncal, Valle de Benasque, Valle de Tena and Bielsa. Juan Antonio Gutiérrez Hernando, CEO of Mazabi, has assured that "We are excited about this new alliance with SNÖ Hotels, and we are confident that the Hotel Aragon Hills & Spa will become a benchmark for tourism in Formigal. This partnership is another step forward in our goal to strengthen our presence in the hotel and tourism ski area".

David Rey, CEO and founder of SNÖ Hotels, commented that "from SNÓ we will work closely with Mazabi to offer an exceptional experience to our guests and consolidate our position as a top destination in the Formigal ski resort".

Mazabi purchased the Aragón Hills & Spa Hotel and added it to its portfolio of tourism assets last April, in a transaction that is part of its strategic plan to invest in tourism assets.The acquisition consolidated Mazabi's position in the tourism ski area, consolidating the company's position in the market.
