The winter season of Sierra Nevada has managed to recover, after the rain and wind storm that forced to close the facilities during last Friday and Saturday, the main tracks in the areas of Loma de Dílar and Laguna , although the latter area will have a restricted hours to preserve the snow (from 10.00 to 12.00) with exclusive access from Puerta Laguna and with the express recommendation of use only for experts.
The return to the snow part of the Loma de Dílar and the Laguna de las Yeguas - thanks to the intense and laborious work of the train drivers of the resort - allowed to overcome 50 skiable kilometers with tracks in all areas of the Sierra Nevada domain.
On the other hand, from December 26 to January 5 - and with the exception of January 1 -, the Al Ándalus cable car , which connects Pradollano and Borreguiles, will open at 8.30 am, half an hour before its usual time.
For the rest, Sierra Nevada , after the descent of Santa Claus , resumed on December 27 the special Christmas program with the children's cinema cycle in which 7 animated films will be shown from 6.30 pm in the auditorium from the Telecabina Hotel with free admission until capacity is reached.
