It is a race open to all, on the slopes of Font-Romeu , on March 9, 2019. A perfect day to spend with the family and collaborate with a very good cause! At the end of the race there will be a raffle with fantastic prizes given by our sponsors that you can not miss!

You are invited to come. Registration and ski pass in the following link: http://www.asociacionarita.org/carrera

If you cannot come, you can buy " Row 0 " and support the cause equally, although surely the organizers will love to see you with your friends and family on the slopes of Font-Romeu.

As in all the events they do, the funds raised by the Anita Charity Association (declared of Public Utility) go to the San Juan de Dios Research Foundation of Barcelona as they remember themselves through their website:

"On February 7, 2017, we donated the first € 50,000 and began the scientific research and training project of a researcher at the Amatruda Lab UT Southwestern Medical Center (USA) for 3 years, and then continue to research at the Laboratory in Barcelona for 2 more years. We have pledged to donate € 50,000 a year, for 9 more years, to continue the research and to find a cure for this type of infant germ cell tumor. "

About the Anita Foundation

Childhood " Germ Cell Tumor " is a type of cancer that occurs during the developmental stage, and all of them actually occur randomly (regardless of the child's genetic history), therefore, any child can be seen affected by this mutation during the development of its organs.

Today it is treated with adult therapies extremely toxic to children (Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, etc.), with very few specific protocols for children. It is essential that we discover a cure, through constant research, to save the lives of children around the world, and improve the quality of life of children who manage to overcome it.
