Marxa Beret: snow and fun guaranteed

It is one of the most popular winter marches. Queen among ski racing background. One of the days of snow with more tradition in the Catalan Pyrenees. The Marxa Beret last preparations for its 38th edition, which will take place the weekend of 4 and 5 February 2017, in the ski resort Baqueira Beret . The test has almost forty years of history and is included in the FIS calendar and be scoring for the Circuito Popular Cross - Country Races, Spain RFEDI Cup and the Catalan Cup. In short, it is a test of cross-country skiing more established in Spain, and every year has a large number of participants.

Competitive, but also family

Last season, the competition was the Euroloppet, the European Championship cross-country skiing marathons, in which around 1,200 long distance runners gathered, 40% of which came from Nordic countries. This fact means an international momentum that consolidates the event for top-level athletes, but also for beginners. In the end, everything is on a ski holiday for all to enjoy.

Among the most experienced athletes test you will find: in the U18 range, Paula Martinez (CENA) and Gral Sellés (Club Bellver); in the U16, Maria Iglesias (ANEC) and Maria Sellés (Club Bellver). FutuRFEDI all part of the project for the development of sports activities for young distance runners slope.
Salomon Sprint Arties and complete circuit Beret

On Saturday, Feb. 4, at 16: 00h, test skating Salomon Sprint will be held in the car park area of the C-28. Moreover, on Sunday 5th it will be held the 38th Marxa Beret, with a circuit of 10 kilometres in the area of Beret and Orri; another 21 kilometres in the area of Beret, Orri and Montgarri, and finally the circuit of 42 kilometres in the same region Marimanha direction, thanks to the amount of snow that has ski resort. Partly thanks to heavy snow are covering the peninsula in recent weeks.

The registration period to Marxa Beret ends on February 2.
