In Luz Ardiden have already put the countdown to their ski season. They say that this year they want to be the first in the French Pyrenees to launch their first lifts, and they have set a date: November 29. That is, just over 11 weeks to test snowboards, skis and boots.

If successful, it would be the first of the N'PY Group to be launched. A few days ago, its ski resorts announced the day they expected to launch this coming winter season. All of them at the beginning of December with the aim of being able to take advantage of the Immaculate Conception of Spain:

Luz Ardiden's goal is to try to open some slopes in the Col de Cloze ski area, between elevations 1,750 and 2,500 metres. Two four-people chairlifts arrive there. One of them is the Caperette, which would allow reaching that high altitude, and once up there, the Cloze, which gives access to the red Cimmes and black Perdrix slopes. It is, therefore, an area for expert skiers who want to get ahead of the official opening scheduled for December 6.
