King Felipe VI returned to skiing in Baqueira on February 17, 2024

King Felipe VI could not have chosen a better day to go skiing in Baqueira Beret, as on Friday there was a snowfall that left 10 to 20 centimeters on the slopes depending on the altitude. On Saturday, although it started with a sea of clouds, the skies cleared, so it was possible to enjoy a spectacular day.

According to the Segre newspaper, Felipe VI was seen skiing first in the Baqueira ski area, and then in Beret, where he stayed for lunch at noon.

Coincidentally, last year he was also in the Aranese resort on February 17 and left the next day. Although on that occasion he did it also motivated by the alleged appearance of Iñaki Urdangarín by the house that the Royal Family has in one of the pletas of the station, ceded by businessmen of the Val d'Aran.

This year it seems that he has simply arrived attracted by the good conditions that the ski resort showed after the recent snowfall on Friday night.
