Grandvalira will open 119 kilometers this weekend
As it has done these last days, the sun and mild temperatures will be the protagonists in Grandvalira Resorts this coming weekend, which will make skiing and terraces of the ski areas the perfect plans, as well as alternative activities.
Likewise, Grandvalira Resorts continue to offer more than 160 skiable kilometers, distributed as follows:
Grandvalira: 119 km on 89 slopes with links between all operational ski areas, 67 lifts in operation and snow thicknesses of up to 70 centimeters.
Grandvalira opens 119km
Pal Arinsal: 40 km skiable, up to 60 centimeters of snow and 83% of the lifts in operation, including the cable car linking both ski areas, as well as the new Port Negre chairlift in Arinsal, the main novelty of the season.
Pal will open 40km in its two ski areas connected by cable car.
Ordino Arcalís, which these days has hosted the Borrufa Trophy in Les Canals and Portella del Mig, has 26 km, 75% of the slopes open and 80% of the lifts operational, with snow thicknesses of up to 100 centimeters of snow.
1 meter of snow and 75% of the ski area awaits skiers in Ordino.
At the same time, the rate of bookings continues to be very good, both during the week and, especially, on weekends. In fact, the last two weekends have reached the records of visitors of the season, with more than 50,000 ski days between Saturday and Sunday, and it is expected that the rest of January and February the pace of skiers in Grandvalira Resorts will be very similar.
The forecast of mild temperatures and sunshine will invite to take advantage of the idyllic atmosphere of all the terraces of the ski resorts this weekend.
In addition, many of them will have musical events with a multitude of DJs that will entertain in the mornings, noons and evenings the terraces of the premises of Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís to enjoy even more the moments of pause.
The IQOS Terrace in the Soldeu ski area of Grandvalira will have this Saturday 26th the live violin experience by Lía Jensen, accompanied by DJ Richy Vuelcom.
Also the Racó de Solanelles in the Encamp ski area has a full agenda of great DJs to put the rhythm to its spectacular terrace. This Friday 26 will be DJ Meiken, on Saturday 27 the rhythm will be provided by Andro Colors and Sunday will be Mupe the protagonist.
Other Grandvalira terraces that also promise a great atmosphere throughout the ski day are the In The Snow Veuve Clicquot (El Tarter), the Vermutería Petroni (Soldeu), the Refugi de Pessons (Grau Roig), or the Llac de Cubil (Encamp), among many others.
As for Pal Arinsal, you can enjoy a great atmosphere in the terraces of Niu, the Xiringuito or Coll de la Botella, while in Ordino Arcalís the terraces of La Coma, Planells or the Refugi de les Portelles, among others, stand out.
The terraces of Grandvalira Resorts become the idyllic weekend break.
One of the hottest spots this season in Grandvalira, L'Abarset, is getting ready for a weekend of infarction. This very Friday, January 26th, one of the most beautiful parties of the winter arrives at the popular après-ski venue in the El Tarter ski area of Grandvalira: the Bresh. The well-known party of Argentine origin, which landed in L'Abarset last season, prepares a new peak party, the first of two planned for this winter.
The party will continue on Saturday with the popular DJ from Malaga Cuartero, one of the protagonists of the lineup of a very complete Saturday in which also highlights Mar-T and Luca Donzelli. In addition, this Saturday comes one of the most anticipated novelties of L'Abarset: The Peak, the afterparty with special guests that will extend the local party until 2 am.
El Cala Bassa Costa Rodona del Pas de la Casa también promete un gran ambiente après-ski a partir de este sábado y durante los siguientes 7 sá7 Saturdays with the Brugal parties, a set of very visual live performances with different instrumental musicians with a DJ base, such as electronic violin, percussionists, electronic saxophone and singers in the purest Ibiza style. The first performance this Saturday from 16 to 20 h will be in charge of the electronic violinist Caio Ferraz.
L'Abarset is once again the temple of music in the Pyrenees of Andorra.
