Esquiades.com takes part at the Barcelona Gay Pride as an official partner of the Snow Gay Weekend

1 About the Snow Gay Weekend

This year, the Boí Taüll ski resort has been announced as the holder of the Snow Gay Weekend event, one of the ten most important LGBTI festivals in the world. In order to inform about the dates and reach the entire LGTBI community, this Saturday, 30th of June, the organisers of the event joined the Pride Barcelona parade with a float that paid tribute to skiing and snow.

Esquiades.com, official partner of the Snow Gay Weekend, joined the party and part of the team got on the float, that started at 5 pm from the Parc de Tres Xemeneies. Immediately after, the parade crossed Paral·lel Avenue to reach the climax of the party, Maria Cristina Avenue, at 7.30 pm.

During the whole afternoon, the coach was throwing foam using a cannon that simulated a snow effect. To this, we have to add the great decoration of the float, which had cotton snowflakes and several skis crossed between them.

With the participation at the Pride Barcelona parade, the Snow Gay Weekend is even closer to the LGTBI community and, in turn, has claimed equality and diversity.

About the Snow Gay Weekend

The Snow Gay Weekend is a sport and cultural event linked to the world of snow that dedicates its activities to the LGTBI collective. Those attending the live event, will be able to enjoy a great weekend in the Boí Valley, an ideal natural environment for practicing winter sports located in the Pyrenees of Lérida.

The programme includes a varied offer of winter sports during the day such as skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, as well as mountain and tourist excursions in the area. In the evening there will be plays like 'Grindr The Musical' or 'The Chanclettes', as well as musical performances such as 'La Prohibida' or Leticia Sabater and parties like Ultrapop 'Snow Edition'.

The appointment, which will take place from the 21st to the 24th of March 2019, expects to double the number of attendees of the last edition. You can check all the information here .
