Thanks to the snowfalls of the first weeks of March and the constant work of the operating teams, FGC Turisme resorts will extend the ski and snow season until April 7, weather and resort conditions permitting.

 

La Molina, Vallter, Espot Esquí, Port Ainé and Boí Taüll, which initially planned to close on Monday, April 1, will open uninterruptedly for another week. Vall de Núria will keep the ski area open until March 31, but will remain open for the rest of the activities as the rest of the 365 days of the year and will maintain the usual services of transport, catering and accommodation operative.

Boí Taull will say goodbye on April 14th.


With almost 80% of the slopes in operation and with snow thicknesses of up to 240 cm at high altitudes, Boí Taüll is the most favored FGC Turisme resort, a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. That is why it also plans to reopen the ski lifts on the weekend of April 13 and 14. It will remain closed from Monday 8 to Friday 12 April.

 

Users with season Ski Passes from other FGC resorts will be able to ski for free in Boi Taüll during the weekend of April 13 and 14.

 

During Easter, the Alta Ribagorça resort will have a program of events designed for all audiences, such as après ski at the Cow Boí Terrace or the farewell party of the winter season 2023-2024 on Saturday 30, with DJ music.

 

Please note that the Vall de Boí resort has a wide and complete offer of ski mountaineering itineraries at a time that is ideal for the practice of this sport.

 

Hours: every day from 9:00 to 17:00h h.

 

Skiing in the Pallars until April 7


The Pallars resorts of Espot and Port Ainé also plan to open almost 100% of their skiable ski area during Easter. The slopes of both resorts, with snow thicknesses of up to 160 cm, will be the ideal setting to enjoy snow sports complemented by a diverse program of events for all audiences.

 

Espot Esquí will organize the awaited Espot Tamarro Race on Saturday, March 30, a fun popular race, free and suitable for all levels, in which particitrousers will have to overcome obstacles as if they were real professional skiers.

 

On the other hand, Port Ainé will have the popular race Gall Fer, a free race open to everyone that will go through a blue and a green slope. At the finish line there will be chocolate for all particitrousers.

 

Schedule: Every day from 9:00 to 17:00h h.

 

La Molina, ready for Easter


The ski resort of La Cerdanya has everything ready for the arrival of Easter. With snow thicknesses of up to 70 cm at high altitudes, throughout these days, you can ski, snowboard and other mountain activities, but also enjoy the wide range of events that will take place.

 

Among the various proposals, the following stand out: the last Après Ski Alabau by Estrella Damm of the winter season, which will coincide with the Flaix FM party and will take place on Saturday, March 23; the traditional Easter Egg Gymkhana on March 29, in which the particitrousers will be able to enjoy a variety of activities.on March 29, in which particitrousers will have to find the eggs hidden around the resort; or a morning DJ session with Oriol Moner (Saturday 30).

 

Regarding sports, La Molina will be the scene of the 12th Championship of Catalonia for people with intellectual disabilities ACELL ( Saturday 23), the open race Torrent Challenge - ALCE (Friday 29) and the triathlon TriSnow La Molina (Saturday 29).n TriSnow La Molina (Sunday 31), which will put an end to the winter season and will welcome mountain activities, such as MTB or trail running.

Vallter faces the end of the season with a snow thickness of up to 60 cm and will remain open every day, offering its usual variety of high mountain activities beyond skiing and snowboarding.

On the other hand, Vall de Núria, with snow thicknesses of up to 70 cm at high altitudes, will keep the ski area operational until Sunday, March 31.

 

The Rack Railway and the resort's tourist services will not stop and will be fully operational beyond that date. The most outstanding proposals are the Cable Car, the Leisure Park, the exhibition areas and the hiking trails around the Sanctuary and in the Natural Park of the Headwaters of the Ter and Freser rivers.

 

All in all, the Núria rack railway, the only means of access to the mountain resort, runs daily and uninterruptedly throughout the year.

 

Looking ahead to Easter, the Ripollès resort presents a full schedule of events for all audiences, such as the snowshoeing holiday under the full moon on Saturday, March 30, in which particitrousers will discover the Pyrenees in a very different way.

 

As for the proposals designed for children, it is worth mentioning the free hot chocolate that will be organized on Saturdays 23 and 30 next to the resort's recreational park, the guided excursion in a snow groomer, complemented by a free chocolate bar, and the guided excursion in a snowshoe, which will take place on Saturday, March 30.The children will have the task of finding the eggs hidden around the Sanctuary with the help of a map, and the Gymkhana Eggs for Easter.
