Baqueira Beret puts the countdown to its ski season with music and races

1 Sports activities and competitions

A month of March that began with mid-winter temperatures and precipitation, leaving half a meter of snow . Subsequently the temperatures have risen transforming the quality into slopes; Even so, the beginning of the astronomical spring arrives in Baqueira Beret with good conditions for skiing and snowboarding.

Sports activities and competitions

There are many activities and events that remain until the end of the season in Baqueira Beret. For example, the third edition of Polar Sound that arrives this week with all the tickets already sold for two months; an event organized by Fever and with the direct collaboration of Baqueira Beret and the Naut Aran City Council, which was attended by more than 14,000 people last year.

A large tent is located in the Baqueira 1500 car park to accommodate the different artists present, as well as to provide services to all attendees. In the different concerts, between Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th of March , you can hear and enjoy artists such as Vetusta Morla, Taburete, Sidecars, Pignoise, Marlon, Marlena, Jose de Rico, Paula Mattheus, Dj Nano, Ardiya, Luigii Nieto , Caco Monteverde and Miguel Lara.

The festival offers a 360º experience in which you can enjoy skiing during the day and vibrate to the music at night.

Polar Sound Festival 2022

The competition will also be the protagonist in these last weeks of the season. From March 27 to 31, the RFEDI FIS Absolute Spanish Alpine Ski Championship will be held in Beret, where the best Spanish skiers of the Super-G, Giant and Slalom modalities will meet.

The Spanish Slopestyle Championship will also be held in Beret from April 1 to 4 at the Snowpark Era Marmota, with the best freestylers on the national scene.

Other events that will accompany the Catalan ski resort before it closes will be all the social races of the different clubs in the resort, where children can feel like real runners.

Until the last day, the Baqueira Beret resort will keep more than 20 restoration points operating throughout the ski area, spread over Baqueira 's 1,500, 1,800 and 2,200 elevations.

In Beret there are six points where you can stop to eat in the middle of the slopes and then continue enjoying the descents until it closes at five in the afternoon.

In the Bonaigua area, four different cafeterias/restaurants , located at strategic points in the area to facilitate stopping.
