Baqueira Beret has a forecast of 130 kilometers skiable for Christmas

Baqueira Beret faces Christmas combining traditional events for the whole family, kilometers to enjoy skiing or snowboarding and lots of après ski atmosphere.

More than 130 km to cross the ski resort from end to end, accessing for example from Bonaigua, passing through Baqueira and visiting the new TSD Dossau lift in the Beret area. Many slopes of all levels to spend a few holidays with family or friends surrounded by nature, snow and the charm of the Val d'Aran and the Valls d'Àneu.

All the services of the ski resort will also be open, including Ski Service Baqueira Store and themed restaurants such as the 5J Grill Baqueira, the Moët Winter Lounge or the Refugio San Miguel, in addition to the rest of bars and parrecs; a total of 25 points of restoration with gastronomic variety for all tastes. Not forgetting the après ski that will be present in Baqueira Bar 1500 and Moët Winter Lounge every afternoon from 12h with different musical offers. In the Forum area of Baqueira 1500: the Borda Lobató, the Winebar by Viña Pomal and the Drinkery pub will provide service during the Christmas season.

Baqueira SnowCAMP, the children's snow parks where the little ones can enjoy the ski resort of Baqueira Beret and the snow to the fullest this Christmas, will also be open to offer the best service to families.

Christmas IS tradition in the high mountains

Once again, from December 24 to January 5, Baqueira Beret offers a special program for the Christmas holidays.

As has become traditional, Santa Claus will visit Baqueira Beret before starting his long night. He will arrive at the ski resort with the help of a dog sled that will bring him closer to the little ones on the slopes. This year, as a novelty, he will sit on his throne to collect the letters from the little ones and wish them a Merry Christmas in person, a magical moment they will not forget.

In Baqueira Beret the year ends on skis; the traditional descent of torches returns another year with more than 300 particitrousers. The route will be from the 1,800m of Baqueira to 1,500m. The descent will end with fireworks and vin cau and chocolate for those present.

Starting the year with a classical music benefit concert is also a tradition in the Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu ski resort. This year under the theme "Music of Antonio Vivaldi" and with the musicians: Claudi Arimany, flute Joan Espina, violin Pyrenaeus Ensemble Chamber Orchestra Eva del Campo, harpsichord. All the funds obtained in this concert will be destined to subsidize social actions of "MUNDO EN ARMONÍA".

Their Majesties the Kings of the Orient will not miss their stop in the snow. The snow grooming machines will take them down the slopes to 1,500 meters above sea level, where children and families will be waiting with great enthusiasm. Before their arrival, Baqueira Beret will offer hot chocolate and cake.

Tradition, festivities and lots of atmosphere will be experienced in Baqueira Beret during these magical days.

Sunday 1st January

- 19:30h New Year's Concert in the Church of Baqueira in favor of Mundo en Armonía. "Music of Antonio Vivaldi".

Thursday January 5th

- 18:30h Arrival of the Cavalcade of the Three Wise Men in snowmobiles.
- 19:00h Mass in Baqueira Church.
