Baqueira Beret has experienced a weekend of contrasts, with a storm on Saturday that left up to 30 cm of powder snow and mid-winter temperatures, followed by a great Sunday of skiing with sunshine and pleasant temperatures. These conditions allow the resort to face April with the best expectations for spring skiing, so from Monday March 31 Baqueira Beret will adopt the spring schedule opening its lifts and slopes at 8:30 am and closing at 4 pm.

In this way, the resort of Val d'Aran and Valls d'Àneu faces April with optimism after a March of continuous rainfall. The ski area receives the first week of the month with a forecast of sunny weather and mild temperatures.

In order to offer the best service for a safe and high quality spring skiing, the resort advances both the opening hours of the facilities, so it will be possible to get on the lifts from 8.30 am. To be the first one in the morning.Being the first on the slopes at such early hours has the reward of morning runs, already in the final stretch of the season, which will be remembered during the long canicular crossing until next winter.

On the other hand, taking into account that the snow transforms faster in the face of the increasing spring sunshine, the lifts will close at 4 pm. The afternoon ski pass also adapts to new schedules and will be sold from Monday 31 from 1 pm.

The resort will keep in operation its four areas (Baqueira, Beret, Bonaigua and Baciver), guaranteeing a wide range of trails with a forecast to exceed 130 km of slopes, if conditions permit, and snow thicknesses in the trails are very uniform around one meter at all altitudes.

Adjustments in catering and Baby Baqueira

With the arrival of Spring Opening Hours, there will be some adjustments in catering services. From March 31, the main catering services will be maintained and some of the most extra services will be closed, such as the Blanhiblar and Dossau parrecs, La Choza, Bar Bonaigua (keeping open Bar San Miguel), La Borda Lobato, Drinkery bar and Restaurant Pla de Beret.

As for the Baby Baqueira children's service, the 1,500 and 1,800 facilities will continue to operate.

From April 4 to 6, the snowpark will host the Spanish Slope Style Championship, one of the most important freestyle competitions on the national RFEDI calendar. For three days, the best skiers and snowboarders in the country will compete for the title in a modality that demands creativity, precision and technique in jumps and modules. On the same dates and on the other side of Beret, the Spanish Skicross and Snowboardcross Championships will be held at the Boarder Cross in Blanhiblar.
On April 5 and 6 the Spanish School Age Championships (CESA) of alpine skiing in the U16/14 categories will be held at the Fernandez Ochoa Stadium in Beret, which is also the final phase of the Spanish Cup. It is scheduled on Saturday a GS and Sunday SL. Organization by the Station, RFEDI, NKEF and Naut Aran City Council.
Moët Winter Lounge: from Monday to Sunday will play either DJ Guillem Ponce or DJ Faby from 13 h.
