1 Snow bus in the Panticosa Resort

1.1 Snow forecast

The snowfalls that began to fall on Wednesday night, and that in some parts of the Pyrenees have extended until Friday, also allow the Nordic ski resorts in Aragon to get going. At the moment there are only two: Llanos del Hospital in Benasque, and Balneario de Panticosa in the Tena Valley. Between the two will offer 8 and 6 skiable kilometers respectively from Saturday.

Oza-Gabardito is added to these two, although only for snowshoeing or ski mountaineering, thanks to the 25 cm at the moment.

On the other hand, the Pineta Nordic Space expects to be able to start soon with a new Skimo Ruego Center. This is a space dedicated exclusively to ski mountaineering, with a machine that allows skiers to get close to the very point where the snow is so that they can start climbing directly with their skins.

This is undoubtedly the great novelty of the Aragon Nordic Spaces for this season, which hopes to become a meeting point for ski mountaineering lovers.

Regarding the rest of the Nordic Areas of the Aragon Pyrenees, for the moment they have received snow, enough to prepare the terrain, but not to be able to trace tracks.

And while waiting for the inauguration of the rest of the cross-country ski trails, you can enjoy other activities such as snowshoeing or Nordic walks through these natural areas.

Both the Linza and Lizara Refuges offer equipment rental for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing, as well as accommodation in both mountain refuges.

Snow bus in the Panticosa Resort

As every winter, as soon as the Panticosa ski resort starts up, the free bus (for customers) to the slopes will be put into operation. It will operate only during the two weeks of Christmas, as well as on weekends and long weekends, and in coordination with the ARAMÓN Formigal buses.

Among the novelties this year in the hotel complex of the Panticosa Spa, in the Tiberio Thermal Baths, the Aromatic Pool, Contrast Shower and Bithermal Shower have been renovated. There is a new proposal of flotation with views in the Oval Pool.

New menu of treatments and signature experiences exclusively for Termas de Tiberio and reopening of the gastronomic area of Termas de Tiberio with a proposal of drinks and healthy and natural food.

In the same complex of the Spa, there is a gastronomic offer centered on the Italian Restaurant La Fontana, the English Bar and a new proposal of cocktails in the evening.

Another of the great novelties is that finally has arrived the Fiber Optic to the Panticosa Spa allowing to offer quality wi-fi throughout the resort. New corporate website, improvements in usability, better experience in the booking process.
