Aramón Formigal-Panticosa will double the number of skiable kilometers on the weekend

The ski resorts of Aramón Formigal-Panticosa and Cerler have been increasing the number of skiable kilometres since last weekend.

Precipitation in the form of snow in recent days and low temperatures have allowed consolidating the slopes in operation and expanding the skiable domain.

These conditions have also made the slopes and snow quality at Aramón Cerler unbeatable. For its part, Aramón Formigal-Panticosa will double the number of skiable kilometres and, for the weekend, is expected to reach 63 km.

The resorts in the province of Teruel, Aramón Javalambre and Aramón Valdelinares, are preparing to open next week if the current weather forecasts are met.

Aramón would also like to remind you of the MITM's message regarding the works on the N-260 road, which will remain open and will not be completely closed due to works until the end of the winter season. This amendment in the schedule of works guarantees normal access to the Benasque valley and the Cerler resort, after the cuts that hindered circulation in recent months.

World Snow Day, a world day for the little ones

The World Snow Day is a great celebration that spreads through more than 150 ski resorts in different continents and whose protagonists are the young skiers. Cerler and Formigal-Panticosa ski resorts join this commemoration with different activities.

The initiative aims to promote the practice of alpine skiing and snowboarding among the younger generations and promote the creation of a pool of professional athletes, since the practice of the sport at a "recreational" level is a first step towards professionalization. Snow sports are also a way of attracting children to the sport because skiing is an experience with positive emotions associated with it.

This day also aims to make children aware of the importance of their role as future "guardians of the snow": what they do to care for the environment will contribute to the snow in the future.

The Aramón Cerler and Aramón Formigal-Panticosa ski resorts will be offering different activities on January 15.
