Skiing in Sierra Nevada: The southernmost ski resort in Europe

Situated between the Andalusian city of Granada and the Mediterranean Sea, this is one of the few ski resorts in Spain that is not in the Pyrenees. As the southernmost ski resort in Europe and among the highest mountains in Spain, towards the end of the season, it is possible to ski in the morning and sunbathe on the Costa del Sol in the afternoon.
