Grandvalira receives more than 73,000 skiers during the bridge of the Immaculate

2 A bridge almost in full swing

A total of 73,000 skiers have visited Grandvalira during the Immaculate Bridge, some 26,000 more than the same bridge last year. During this bridge that lasted 6 days more than the previous year, from December 3 to 11, the Andorran station has maintained a daily average of 8,000 users and has increased the number of ski days by 55% compared to last season .

It should be noted that the Immaculate Bridge of this campaign, with a duration of 10 days, has allowed visitors to extend their stay at the Andorran station and has positively favored the influx of public. During this bridge, Grandvalira has registered a large number of visitors from the proximity markets of Catalonia and southern France as well as from Madrid, the Basque Country and Valencia.

The director of Grandvalira, Alfonso Torreño, has valued "very favorably" this beginning of the season thanks to the large number of visitors and the conditions of snow and sun during these holidays and stressed that "this good reception allows us to prepare the arrival with optimism Christmas , another key moment of the season. ”

A bridge almost in full swing

Grandvalira has faced the Immaculate Bridge with about 145 skiable kilometers and with 80% of the operational facilities. The largest station in southern Europe has kept all 6 sectors connected and has had a total of 80 open slopes , being the domain with the most open skiable area in southern Europe.

During the almost 10 days of the bridge, the snow conditions have been optimal and Grandvalira services such as the Ski and Snowboard School or the adventure activities have also been very well received by many of the visitors. In addition, the restoration spaces of the domain, which were already fully open these days, have had a large influx of people.
